How does parcel delivery to the door work?
Select "Delivered to the door" when you shop. Posten delivers your parcel to your home and sends you an SMS with the time. If you cannot receive the parcel, you can choose contactless delivery via the Posten app or Posten's website.
How to order
- Add the items to your shopping bag and go to checkout.
- Are you an IKEA Family member and logged in? You automatically get a lower delivery price when you shop for more than 299,-.
- Select "Delivered to the door" when your order is at least 99,- and the items can be sent as a parcel.
- Choose your preferred date and available delivery time.
- The date is an estimate and may change.
- Posten will notify you about the delivery date when they receive your order.
- Fill in the delivery details and complete the payment.
- You will receive an order confirmation by email with the estimated delivery time.
We prepare your parcel
- We process your order.
- You get tracking information by SMS.
- You can track your parcel at Posten.
- You can also track it via "Track your order" on our website.
Delivery
- On the delivery day Posten will contact you with more information.
- Cannot receive the parcel? You can choose contactless delivery in the Posten app or on Posten's website. Posten will place the parcel in a safe place.
- This does not apply to apartment buildings with locked gates or other places where Posten does not have access.
- Cannot find the option in the app? You can change it via Posten's tracking page.
- If you have not chosen contactless delivery and Posten cannot deliver, the parcel goes to the nearest pickup point.
- You get an SMS when the parcel is ready for pickup. The parcel must be picked up within the deadline.
- If the parcel is not picked up, it will be returned according to Posten's terms. We will deduct a delivery fee of 49,- from the refund.
- Want a new delivery? Arrange this directly with Posten. New delivery can be ordered and paid for via the Posten app or Posten's website.
After delivery
Something wrong? Contact us and we will solve it!
To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, choose 'Home Delivery' at checkout and select the 'To the Door Delivery' option. Provide accurate delivery details and confirm your order. You'll receive a confirmation email and SMS with delivery details, and on delivery day, ensure clear access and that someone over 18 is present. If you notice any issues (such as missing or damaged items), inform the driver on site and contact IKEA customer support.
