How does parcel delivery to a pick-up point work?
Order items for at least 99,- and select "Collect at pick-up point" at checkout. The parcel will be delivered to your chosen pick-up location: post office, postal service point in a store, or parcel locker. You can usually pick up your parcel within 1–10 business days.
Ordering
- Add items to your shopping bag.
- If you're an IKEA Family member and logged in, you'll automatically get a lower delivery price when you spend more than 299,-.
- "Collect at pick-up point" will appear as an option when your order is at least 99,- and the items are available for parcel delivery.
- Choose the pickup point that works best for you. They're sorted by postal code.
- Select your preferred collection date. The date shown is an estimate, but we'll keep you updated along the way. You can usually collect your parcel within 1–10 business days.
- Enter your delivery details and complete your payment.
- Once you've placed your order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email.
Tracking your parcel
- Once we've processed your order, you'll receive tracking information by text message.
- Track your parcel on Posten's website (in Norwegian) or via Track your order on our website using your tracking number.
- Sometimes your order may be split into multiple shipments. If this happens, you'll see it when adding items to your cart, in your order confirmation, and in the delivery updates we send along the way.
Pick-up
- Your parcel will be delivered to your chosen location – the nearest post office, in-store postal service point, or parcel locker.
- You'll receive a text message from Posten as soon as your parcel is ready to collect.
- Parcels must be collected within the deadline. If not collected, the parcel will be returned according to Posten's terms, and we'll deduct a delivery fee of 49,- from your refund.
After pick-up
