Do I need a receipt for the return and how will the refund be made?
The original receipt or proof of purchase is required for the return and the refund will be refunded against the original payment method.
Your receipt will clearly state the payment method (including the last 4 digits of the card used for the purchase).
If you made the purchase in-store and no longer have the receipt, and it's not saved to your IKEA Family account, IKEA can find your receipt with a few details:
- Date of purchase
- Place of purchase
- Exact amount of the transaction
- The last 4 digits of the card used (card payments via a digital wallet may have different last four digits from the physical card).
The refund will be refunded to the original payment method and normally takes approx. 5 business days.
