How does the IKEA buy-back service work?
Sell your IKEA furniture back to us and receive an IKEA voucher. Give the furniture a longer life by having it sold in the Reuse Shop at a reduced price. The IKEA buy-back service is available at all stores in Norway. We buy back a selection of used IKEA furniture as long as the furniture is complete, fully assembled, functional, and in good condition.
- Check if your furniture is listed in our Buyback estimator tool before you come to the store.
- Bring your offer number, ID, and product to the Exchange and Return department when you visit us.
- We will assess your product at the store and confirm the final buy-back value.
- You will receive a voucher for the amount we buy the item for, and it can be used immediately in the store, in the Reuse Shop, or on IKEA.no.
To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, choose 'Home Delivery' at checkout and select the 'To the Door Delivery' option. Provide accurate delivery details and confirm your order. You'll receive a confirmation email and SMS with delivery details, and on delivery day, ensure clear access and that someone over 18 is present. If you notice any issues (such as missing or damaged items), inform the driver on site and contact IKEA customer support.
To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, and select the 'Click & Collect' option at checkout. Choose your preferred collection point and time slot. You'll receive a confirmation email/SMS with collection details, and once your order is ready, you'll be notified to pick it up. Ensure you have your order confirmation with you. For any issues during collection, follow instructions provided in your notification or reach out to IKEA customer support.
