1. Choose the right wardrobe size

If you’re considering a new wardrobe, begin by assessing how much storage you need and the types of items you'll be storing. Bear in mind that your clothes, shawls, bags, shoes, and accessories each require different types of compartments and storage solutions.

Budget option: Consider a compact wardrobe that fits easily in smaller spaces and is simple to move or match with your bedroom furniture.

For odd spaces: If your room has an unusual shape or tricky layout, a custom open wardrobe might be a great solution because it eliminates the hassle of doors that could get in the way.

More features: If you need a wardrobe with lots of features, a modular wardrobe system could be ideal since you are free to customise it to fit your storage needs and available space.

2. Use boxes for different needs

Various storage boxes can help you organise the inside of your wardrobe effectively and declutter your space. Group your belongings into the right boxes that fit your family’s different needs for better practicality, and your future self will thank you.

3. Maximise space with hanging storage

How to make the most of your hanging rails, you ask? Extra hanging storage organisers are one of the best small wardrobe organisation ideas. They help keep everything neat and easy to find, making the most of your wardrobe space.

4. Use lightings for your wardrobe

Did you know that you can improve visibility in your wardrobe with lightings? It's not just an option for large, luxurious wardrobes! Place lights on top of your wardrobe or inside your drawers to brighten the space. This eliminates the need to turn on the room’s lights and makes it easier to see everything inside. Explore our sensor lights that automatically turn on when you open the wardrobe door.

5. Sort, sell, donate

Feeling overwhelmed by your wardrobe? It’s time to let go of items you no longer use. Keep a bag handy for things you want to donate or sell. Once the bag is full, sort through the items and find them a new home. In Malaysia, we usually donate to local charities or sell pre-loved items through online platforms or car boot sales. And now with the hype surrounding bundle stores? Giving your preloved items a second life is easier than ever.
