Use SOLVINDEN pendant lamps to fill your outdoor space with light and cosiness in a flash. Mix colours, patterns and sizes – they all have solar-powered LED bulbs and shades made of recycled PET bottles.

100 lampshades give new life to 110 recycled half-litre PET bottles.

The solar-powered lamp charges during the day and automatically turns on when it gets dark.

Solar cells transform sunlight into energy - requires no electrical connections.

  • This solar-powered product lights up automatically when the environment gets dark and the switch is on. It never shines in daylight.

    1 rechargeable battery (AAA 1.2V) that stores energy from the sun is included. The battery can be replaced and lasts for about 2 years.

    Position the solar panel for maximum exposure to sunlight.

    Recharging time is 9-12 hours in sunlight, but over 12 hours on a cloudy day.

    Built-in LED light source.

    LED life time approx. 20.000 hours.

    Approved for use as outdoor lighting, IP 44.

    The battery should be replaced only with a rechargeable battery of the same type and capacity.

    IKEA recommend LADDA rechargeable batteries.

    Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.
