Sturdy and spacious, but concerned about the durabilityKhooThe FRAKTA recycle bag is still very practical. It is sturdy, very large and easy to fold and store when not in use. The size makes it especially useful for carrying bulky items. However, the strong plastic smell when new is quite irritating and takes some time to air out. I also have some concerns about the durability of the newer version. The edges and handles appear to use non-woven material with heat bonding, rather than the woven construction used in the older version. While it feels sturdy now, I wonder whether the heat-bonded areas will last as long as the older woven version, especially with frequent heavy use. Overall, still a very useful IKEA bag, but I preferred the the older FRAKTA.4
