This TV-bench has large drawers that make it easy to keep remote controls, game controllers and other TV accessories organised.

Cable outlets make it easy to lead cables out the back, so they’re hidden from view but close at hand when you need them.

  • We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 72 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.

    The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 30 kg.

    Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

    Combines with other furniture in the BRIMNES series.

Brimnes TV Bench:SumitraI ordered a new flatscreen TV and needed a long enough TV bench for it. Ikea was the perfect spot to look at a variety of TV benches. I now have a new Brimnes TV bench with more storage than I know what to do with. The process of getting it was smooth from selecting, ordering and getting the TV bench installed. The installers were super-efficient and came on-time. I wish Ikea could add in this design option: Could this bench have a wooden frame or castors for its base to elevate it so that the particle board is not in contact with my floor? My floor gets wet mopped which in time will damage the particleboard of the bench.5

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
