Wide block-out curtain in beige, soft as peach. The lightweight recycled polyester falls gently and retains its fresh look after washing. Cut to length and hang – the fabric won’t shred.

Block-out curtains blocks light from shining through and completely darkens your room.

Perfect for people who are sensitive to light during sleep, anytime of the day.

The fabric in recycled polyester is easy-care and retains its colours ‒ wash after wash.

The heading tape has the same colour as the curtain so it looks neat from the back as well.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

You can cut this curtain to the length you want. There’s no need to hem or sew - the laminated fabric does not shred.

The 250 cm length is ideal if you want to hang the curtain above the window for a casual look.

The laminated fabric blocks out all light. Ensure the curtain covers the entire window and when possible, choose wall fittings with a short (6 cm) arm to prevent light from coming in through gaps.

23 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 210 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

Black lining heats up when exposed to sunlightAnonymous reviewerThis design flaw (black side facing sun) causes the curtain to build up heat during the sunniest hours. This in turn heats up the ambient air which affects the comfort level in the room. We needed a black out curtain to reduce heat gain from sunlight, but we now have a hotter yet darker room with the curtains drawn. Applying hooks to the band was also harder than expected, as the hair-thin strands making the loops for a curtain rod kept getting in the way of our hooks. This could have been constructed with standard hook slots and an intact band of fabric (rather than flimsy strands of fibre) to make loops that a curtain rod can go through.3
