To adjust the tilt tension, turn the knob under the seat to increase or decrease the resistance.

Form over functionBrandoIt has a modern angular look that I like and has a re-assuringly substantial heft to it. Not easy to move - which is a good and a bad thing. It looks austere and minimalist, and might feel a bit like it too when you're seated but I have no complaints about comfort. It's a firm sit. What isn't firm enough is the cushioning around the frame, which I feel needs to be sturdier and provide more resistance to pressing.4
