Terms & conditions

Organiser, Duration & Eligibility

1. The ‘Meatball Keychain’ in-store campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by Ikano Handel Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 201301044794 (1074617-K)) (“IKEA” or “Organiser”). The Campaign period is from 1 June 2026 to 14 June 2026 ("Campaign Period").
2. The Campaign is open to all IKEA customers, provided that they are an IKEA Family Member ("Participant / Participants").
3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the terms or duration of the Campaign at any time without notice.
4. This Campaign is only valid for purchases made at IKEA Malaysia’s physical stores and through online Click & Collect with in-store pickup.

How to Participate & Redemption (In-Store)

5. To qualify, Participants must purchase a minimum of RM300 in a single receipt at any IKEA Malaysia store (including F&B) or via online Click & Collect with in-store pickup during the Campaign Period (“Proof of Purchase”).
This Campaign does not include purchases made through online deliveries, including parcel and truck home delivery purchases, Click & Collect at IKEA collection points or mobile collection points, IKEA Gift Cards, and services (e.g., installation, assembly, delivery).

• Minimum of RM300 in a single receipt will receive one (1) keychain
• Spend of RM600 or more will receive a maximum of two (2) keychains in a single receipt.
• Each receipt can only be used once for the campaign and cannot be reused or split.
• Participants must present their valid receipt or valid online Click & Collect receipt at the Exchange & Returns area when collecting their Meatball Keychain.

6. Redemption is strictly limited to the date of purchase. Redemptions made on any other date will not be accepted, regardless of receipt presentation.

For Online Click & Collect orders, redemption is valid only on the actual collection date, provided such collection occurs within the campaign period. Orders collected outside the campaign period are not eligible for redemption.

• No swaps or returns will be given, even upon duplication of keychains.

Campaign Mechanics & Allocation

7. All Meatball Keychains are subject to availability at the stores, while stocks last.

Responsibilities & Rights of the Organiser

8. Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Organiser’s decision on all matters related to the Campaign is final.
9. The Organiser is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
10. The Organiser is not responsible for any lost, damaged, incomplete or invalid receipts.

Terms and Conditions

• This promotion is available for all IKEA Malaysia customers who are IKEA Family members, and is only valid for purchases made in IKEA Malaysia stores from 23 May 2026 to 7 June 2026 (both dates inclusive).
• To qualify for the promotion, customers need to spend a minimum of RM500 on home furnishing products in a single receipt in IKEA Malaysia stores, to receive one RM50 IKEA voucher (“voucher”) for use on the next in-store purchase from 8 June 2026 to 6 Sept 2026.
• Only one (1) voucher per customer per receipt. No splitting of receipts is allowed to get more vouchers.
• The promotion is only valid for purchases of home furnishing products. It excludes purchases made on IKEA Gift Card, IKEA Food items, and services such as sewing, picking, installation, assembly, and home delivery.
• To claim the voucher, customers must produce the original purchase receipt that fulfils the criteria stated above at the Exchange and Returns counter in the same IKEA Malaysia store as the purchase made, from 23 May 2026 to 7 June 2026. Any attempt to claim the voucher after 7 June 2026 will not be accepted.
• Other proof of purchase, such as a credit card slip and a photocopy of the receipt, will not be accepted. 
• The vouchers are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or credit.
• The RM50 voucher can only be used for in-store purchase with a minimum spend of RM300 in a single receipt from 8 June 2026 to 6 Sept 2026, at the same IKEA Malaysia store where the voucher was claimed. Only one voucher can be used per transaction.
• The voucher excludes purchases made on IKEA Gift Card, IKEA Food items, and services such as sewing, picking, installation, assembly, and home delivery.
• Customers will be automatically disqualified, or IKEA may revoke the vouchers if IKEA, in its sole discretion believe that the customer has tampered with the entry process, or has attempted to undermine the promotion mechanics by fraud, cheating or deception.
• In the event that the customer returns any products from the qualifying purchase resulting in a shortfall of the spend criteria, IKEA reserves the right to withdraw the voucher and deduct any used value from the refund amount or disqualify the redemption. 
•  IKEA reserves the right, on reasonable grounds, to reject the use of the voucher at any time. Reasonable grounds include any abuse or attempted abuse of the voucher; use or attempted use in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions; and any reasonable suspicion or dishonesty in connection with the usage of the voucher.

IKEA reserves the right to vary and amend the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time without prior notice. 

Terms and conditions for all participants

1. This IKEA Malaysia “#IKEAripapYourWay” Instagram Video Contest (“Contest”)  is organised by Ikano Handel Sdn Bhd. (1074617-K) with business address at 2 Jalan PJU 7/2, Mutiara Damansara, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (“IKEA”).
2. This Contest will be held only on Instagram. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. 

Entry requirements

3. This Contest will be open in Malaysia starting 8 May 2026 at 05:00 pm to 8 June 2026 at 11:59 pm (GMT +8). This contest is open to all Malaysians. IKEA employees and their immediate families are excluded from this Giveaway.
4. No purchase or any other fee payment is required to participate in this Giveaway.
5. Participants can submit as many entries as they wish. Late or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
6. All entries must be submitted via Instagram. Please refer to the ‘How To Participate’ guide below.   

How to participate 

7. Participants must follow the following steps to join the Contest and to ensure the entries are valid:

• Film yourself enjoying our curry puff in your most record breaking way!
• Share it on Instagram, tell us your record in the caption, and keep your profile public.
• Tag @‌IKEAMalaysia with #IKEAripapYourWay to beat your record.

Prizes

8. A total of three (3) winners will be selected to receive the prize of 300 curry puffs each from IKEA Swedish Bistro.
9. Winners will be announced via an announcement post published on IKEA Malaysia’s official Instagram account @ikeamalaysia.
10. All prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash or credit alternatives will be given in exchange for the whole or any part of the prizes. IKEA reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize or equivalent value. Any eventual tax debt that arises out of or in connection to the prize received shall be paid by the parent or guardian in accordance with local legislation.
11. IKEA reserves the absolute right to select an alternate winner and award the prize to another participant in the event that IKEA has reasonable grounds to believe that a participant has acted in a way which is inconsistent and contrary with these Terms and Conditions or has acted in a way which IKEA considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive.
12. All the winners will be notified by Instagram comment reply and direct message by 30 June 2026 and are required to provide the requested details by IKEA for prize collection arrangement. The prize shall be redeemed and collected at the preferred store, no later by 8 August 2026.
13. If the prize is not collected within date notification, the prize is forfeited and IKEA shall select another winner.

15. IKEA does not hold any responsibility for network, computer or software failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your e-mail. Proof of sending is not a proof of an email receipt.
16. IKEA is not liable for any loss arising from the postponement, cancellation, delay or change to the prize or for any act or default from any third party supplier. IKEA does not exclude or limit liability in any way for death or personal injury arising out of our negligence or fraud or by unforeseen circumstances.

Intellectual Property Rights

17. All contest entries must be the original work of the participant. Any intellectual property rights including but not limited to copyright and design rights in the artwork and the description of the creative process provided by participants, in the winning entries, are transferred to and shall belong to IKEA from the point at which the competition entries are provided to IKEA. The original work and any alterations and adaptations may be used by any IKEA affiliate in marketing material irrespective of medium and form.
18. By participating in this Giveaway, IKEA reserves the right to use any submitted photo and comments in any publication or media worldwide for promotional activities/materials, without further notification or any compensation to the participant. For example, photos and comments could be used by IKEA in the promotion of future events and may be used in displays, advertisements, printed publications, and/or on websites. The participant also acknowledges and agrees to waive any right to inspect or approve any future promotional activities/materials that may include participant’s photos and comments.
19. The participant’s name and/or social media handles will be mentioned in the winning announcement.
20. By accepting the prize, winners consent to being photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded by the brand during prize collection for promotional, marketing, and communication purposes across the IKEA official online and offline channels. 

Governing Law 

21. The IKEA Malaysia “#IKEAripapYourWay” Instagram Video Contest and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of Malaysia.

Dear Participants,
Under the PDPA, there are various requirements that regulate the processing of your personal data as an individual. It informs you of your rights under the PDPA, including actions you may take to exercise such rights and its consequences, and in particular:-

   6. We will keep and process your personal data in a secure manner.  We will provide and implement appropriate security safeguards to ensure your personal data will not be misused and to prevent any unauthorised processing of your personal data.
