Accelerating omni-channel in the city

Due to this renovation, the store will operate with a re-duced sales area from Mon

It has been four years since we opened our City Shop in Tokyo, with the aspiration to get even closer to where people live, work and gather, making IKEA more accessible to customers in urban areas.  City Shops have played an important role in expanding our customer base and accelerating market penetration in an omnichannel environment. IKEA Shibuya is being reborn to take advantage of the unique characteristics of a city shop and provide a shopping experience similar to that of a blue box. As a partner for "Life at Home," IKEA Shibuya will provide home furnishing goods and services that make life at home more comfortable and sustainable for the many people in a more convenient, fun, and inspiring way. We also aim to become a new community space where various people can gather.

During the renovation period, there will be great deals for our customers, including garage sales. In addition, customers can also pick up products purchased from the IKEA online store (excluding large furniture) at IKEA Shibuya.
