Misleading installation images – affects aestheticsShivamThe lamp itself is decent in terms of design and light quality, but the product images are misleading. The photos suggest a clean, ceiling-mounted installation like most ceiling lamps. In reality, this model comes with a plug that needs to be connected to a wall socket.
This significantly impacts the final look. The visible wire and plug make the installation look unaesthetic, especially if you’re expecting a minimal, flush ceiling setup. If this had been clearly shown or mentioned in the images, I would have reconsidered the purchase.
It would really help if IKEA updated the product photos or clearly highlighted that this lamp is plug-in rather than hardwired. That clarity would save customers time, effort, and disappointment.
Did not like the installationSindhu TirthUnlike other ceiling lamps, this comes with a long wire and a plug. I don’t understand whether it is meant to be used as a ceiling lamp or a lamp with no legs, going to look ugly after installing.
