The fixed Bomstad cover is made of a durable material that is both smooth and strong. The material consists of polyester and cotton and has a protective coating of polyurethane.

    Clean with a duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

  • The fixed cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

Material

What is coated fabric?

If you want a leather feel and an easy-care surface, coated fabric is a durable alternative – often at a lower price. We use fabric made of recycled polyester and have begun a transition from fossil-based to renewable material in the coating. Dimethylformamide (DMF) is a solvent that’s common in production, but since 2016 we’re instead using a water-based solvent.
