The Japanese are rigorous and stick to their habits but are equally playful and candid. This shows in their daily objects and is present in their visual culture and design. Minimalism, functionality, natural materials and honesty form the backbone of my design. I also try to live by these principles to create a well-balanced life that keeps my otherwise busy mind in check.
