Kids’ bedroom ideas for a peaceful night’s sleep
In a family with children, it can be a challenge to wake up fully-rested. While we can’t make any promises, we can give a few tips to make your nights more peaceful.

Cosy kids beds involve sweet dreams and quieter nights
One of the best things you can do is to make your little one’s beds cosier. How about letting them pick out the colours, patterns and quilt covers to make their sleeping area extra special. Using soft shapes and materials (such as a bed tent) create a comfortable cocoon of sorts to keep your kid feeling safe and secure.
Soften the look of the bedside storage
While cupboards above the bed are great for storing things, they often intrude with their sharp lines. Try stapling a length of creased white fabric to the cupboard’s underside to form fluffy, cloud-like shapes. Doing so extends the softness of the bed up along the wall.
Everything at hand for a calming bed-time routine
Whether it is books or a lamp for reading in bed, arrange whatever your child needs for a calm night close at hand. Add storage boxes under their beds to keep water bottles and night lights. They can always serve as a portable nightstand and seating too. Oh, and don’t forget to pack a spare soft toy!
Stay cosy yourself while comforting your child
Keeping an eye on your child in the middle of the night sometimes turns into a long and uncomfortable task. Try placing an extra mattress on the wall, as a part of your kid’s bed-cocoon. It can easily transform into a temporary sleeping area. Comfort your kid without breaking your back and leave easily (when the time is right, of course).
Naturally, each family has their unique set of needs and habits. Our ideas simply focus on ways to make cosy, comfortable bed spaces as functional as possible – also at night.”
