Four easy ways to set the mood in your home with LED lights

We all know LED lights as being compact, long-lasting and energy-saving. But guess what? They are great for creating an ambience as well. Here are a few tips on how to use LED lights for function and building an atmosphere in your home.

Big room with kitchen, dining area and living room only marginally separated. Room lit with multiple light sources.

Soft, comforting lights to guide night-time wanderers

Add a strip of down-facing, hidden LED lights to provide a guiding glow to anyone visiting the hall during the nights.

Why settle for one?

Try placing a group of lamps together to light up the room. When the lights or shapes connect in some way (like the yellow light, grey glass and curved lines in the picture), they form a decorative effect.

Bring some plants and fresh air into the mix

Lighting up the night outside your home looks just magical! Place lights on your garden, balcony or simply by a window. If possible, throw in a bit of greenery to this setting (the lights and plants highlight each other beautifully).

Traditional lighting, modern style

While it’s fun trying different ways to create an ambience in your home, sometimes the classics are your best bet. The twist? They are all LED lighting. So it’s possible to enjoy the flicker of a candle, the bright burn of a kerosene lamp or the twinkling of tea lights without the fear of fire.
