1. It’s all in the looks

Making your food look more appetising makes a world of difference. It’s so simple a step, it may seem unnecessary, but a garnish here and a few sprinkles of herbs there adds a delicious aspect to meals and leftovers. If you’ve got enough greens for an entire salad, carry them in a separate container.

2. Lunch box drawer to the rescue!

Feel your lunch boxes take too much space? Setting up a launch pad to prep lunch can help. Keeping a fixed spot for storing lunch boxes and containers can reduce the space needed. Assigning an entire drawer to put away your containers should do the trick. Don't forget to add some pot-lid organisers to keep everything within reach.

3.Preparing in advance is always a good idea

It’s always better to prep your lunches beforehand, trust us, you’ll thank yourselves later. Using an hour or two during the weekends keeps the hurry to a minimum during the weekdays. Cooking a large batch and then freezing it according to portion size gives you a good idea of what you eat. It also keeps lunch sustainable and saves a few bucks. If you want to change things up, just cook different batches or have a potluck with your lunch box buddies.

4. Looks good and easy to clean

The perfect lunch box does exist - our glass jars or containers! They store whatever you feel like eating, soups, salads, you name it. It’s easy to make your food look good with a bit of layering. Since you are eating directly from the lunch box, there are fewer dishes to clean. Bon appetit!

5. Never forget lunch at home again!

Posting a little note on the pegboard near your door, creating a menu list to motivate your food prep or getting yourself excited about lunch by ‘advertising’ the dish - there are a lot of ways to remind yourself to take the lunch box along. After all, you don't want a few forgotten lunches to break the habit!
