3 sweet treats to beat the heat

Summer’s here! And you know what that means: It’s time for everyone’s favorite frosty treats. We’ve got three easy ideas that aren’t only refreshing, but also use ingredients that will keep your body temperature nice and cool.

Watermelon and cucumber smoothie

In a blender, whiz these up until smooth:
Half a watermelon, peeled
Half a cucumber, chopped
A handful of ice
The juice of half a lemon
50ml aloe vera juice

Raspberry froyo pops

Stir the ingredients together in a bowl, then pour the mixture into ice pop moulds and freeze.
300ml Greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla powder
100ml whipped cream
200 g raspberries

Virgin moscow mule

Mix up the following and enjoy:
One part ginger beer (non-alcoholic)
One part apple juice
Lots of ice
A few sprigs of fresh mint
