IKEA Picnic activities terms and conditions

IKEA Picnic Activities (4th February – 24th June 2026) 

IKEA India Private Limited (“IKEA”), a company incorporated under the laws of India, conducts customer engagement activities from time to time in line with its vision to create a better everyday life for the many people. The following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) govern participation in the IKEA Picnic Activities (“Activities”). 

Activity Period
The Activities shall be conducted during the period from 4th February – 24th June 2026.

Eligibility

  • The Activities are open only to registered IKEA Family members.
  • Participation is voluntary and subject to compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
  • All Activities require prior registration, as participation slots are limited.

 

Registration 

  • Eligible IKEA Family members must register in advance via the IKEA website under the Events section and select an available time slot.
  • Successful registration is subject to availability and confirmation by IKEA, at its sole discretion.
  • For child participation, parents or legal guardians must provide valid and active contact details at the time of registration.
  • Parents or legal guardians must remain available at all times during the Activity.  

Activity Details

  • Activities may include, but are not limited to: board games, reading sessions, creative scratching activities, meditation, painting, and similar engagements.
  • Customers must return the picnic basket and its contents to the designated location at the end of the activity.
  • The list, format, and nature of Activities may be modified by IKEA at its discretion.
  • Detailed descriptions of each Activity shall be made available at the time of registration.
  • All Activities are designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, learning, and safe engagement. 

Health and safety

  • Participants with allergies or special dietary requirements are advised to check ingredient information before consuming food from the IKEA Restaurant or Bistro.
  • IKEA will make reasonable efforts to support special requirements but does not guarantee the absence of allergens.
  • Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by IKEA coworkers during the Activities. 

Personal Belongings

  • IKEA shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings brought to the Activities.
  • Participants are advised not to carry valuable items. 

Photography and Filming

  • IKEA may capture photographs and videos during the Activities for promotional, communication, and marketing purposes.
  • By participating in the Activities, participants grant IKEA the right to use such images or recordings without any further consent, approval, or compensation.

Cancellations

IKEA reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any Activity due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.

Liability & Disclaimer

IKEA, its employees, representatives, agents, affiliates, directors, and officers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Activities, except as required under applicable law. 

IKEA shall be relieved of any liability, obligation, or responsibility arising out of or in connection with the Activities, and no claims (including financial, physical, emotional, indirect, or consequential losses) shall be asserted against IKEA or its associated entities. 

Data Protection
Participant information shall be handled in accordance with IKEA’s Privacy Policy. By registering and participating, participants consent to the collection and use of personal data for the purposes of conducting the Activities.

Modification of Terms
 IKEA reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Participants shall be bound by the revised Terms & Conditions as applicable. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru. By registering for and participating in the IKEA Picnic Activities, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
