  • Proof of Delivery is now digital hence POD’s with OTP provided by customers - will be considered the final acceptance of the articles without any damages
  • In case the articles received are not as expected/ordered/damaged provide the feedback to the delivery partner to make a comment on the POD before providing the OTP
  • The article to be returned or exchanged will be picked up from the customers' doorstep at a slot chosen as per the convenience of the customer within 7 days from the date the returns/exchange case is raised and accepted by the CSC
  • The refund will be processed by the CSC within 15 days from the day the articles are picked up by our transport service providers

IKEA Family Membership

  1. The IKEA Family digital and/or temporary card (the “IKEA Family Card” or “Card”) is issued by IKEA India Private Limited (“IKEA India”) under the IKEA Family loyalty program (“IKEA Family”). The IKEA Family Card is issued to those Indian citizens who have completed the age of eighteen (18) years, for their personal use (the “Family member”). It is not a corporate card/corporate membership/ nor meant to be a credit card, prepaid card or any payment instrument. No registration fee is payable by an applicant for availing of IKEA Family membership and/or for the issuance of the IKEA Family Card.
  2. IKEA India reserves the right to amend these terms and any aspect of the IKEA Family loyalty program, and such amended Terms shall be applicable to all the IKEA Family Members.
  3. IKEA India reserves the right to end the IKEA Family loyalty program (giving 14 days’ notice), refuse to issue IKEA Family cards, cancel IKEA Family card, suspend, or terminate your IKEA Family membership account at its reasonable discretion if suspect of unauthorized use or abuse of its services. IKEA India may terminate the IKEA Family membership of IKEA Family member and delete information of such IKEA Family member in case such IKEA Family Member remains inactive for a continuous period of three (3) years. Upon such suspension/termination, all IKEA Family benefits will cease to exist.
  4. The IKEA Family membership is non-transferable. All the benefits, accrued to IKEA Family Member under the IKEA Family membership, are non-negotiable which can neither be redeemed for/in cash nor be gifted to any other person.
  5. Any usage of the IKEA Family membership applies to IKEA India stores only. From time to time, other promotional partners may be part of the IKEA Family. These third-party promotions will also be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party involved.
  6. These Terms governs the membership of the IKEA Family loyalty program only and do not govern any special/specific benefits and offers, which may be made available to an IKEA Family Member under the various programs/offers/ activities of IKEA India. Also, IKEA India does not guarantee the quality, suitability or reliability of the goods and services provided or to be provided by IKEA India and/or its channel partners, under these Terms. You are therefore requested to refer to the terms and conditions of sale, offer or product/service level agreement of specific products and services for representations and warranties with respect to such products.
  7. In addition to the other limitations under these Terms, in no event will IKEA India’s directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives be responsible for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to in connection with the IKEA Family loyalty program. The limitation of IKEA India’s liability under these Terms shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and shall survive the suspension/termination of the IKEA Family membership and Card of the Family Member.
  8. IKEA India respects the Family Member’s privacy and is committed to safeguarding his/her personal information in accordance with applicable laws, industry standards and best practices. Please refer to the IKEA India Privacy Policy (“Policy”) provided at that contains terms and conditions relating to the collection, use, storage, protection and disclosure of personal information of the Family Member. By accepting membership of the IKEA Family, the IKEA Family Member agrees to and accepts the terms of the Policy and consents to our collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal information in accordance with this Policy.
  9. IKEA India encourages the IKEA Family Member to review the terms contained at regularly to be aware of any amendments made by IKEA India from time to time to reflect the changes in the IKEA Family loyalty program and in the applicable laws.
  10. All disputes related to the IKEA Family loyalty program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, India.

IKEA Family Rewards

1. IKEA Family Rewards are for registered members of IKEA Family only.

2. Rewards are herewith defined as any form of gratification/Coupons/vouchers to the IKEA Family Members who qualify for them.

3. IKEA Family Rewards are valid for Members only in Telangana & Hyderabad Region only, and valid for redemption only at IKEA HITECH City Hyderabad.

4. Member reward eligibility/qualification to said rewards will be at the sole discretion of IKEA.

5. Rewards will only be honoured on printed reward codes from the IKEA Family kiosk ONLY.

6. Every reward coupon is eligible for redemption per member only once. The coupon needs to be handed over to the cashier at the checkout.

7. The Reward can be only redeemed on successful identification by scanning the member’s IKEA Family digital card.

8. Member will not be liable to claim any reward for the coupons which has expired.

9. Expiry dates, validity & campaign period will be at the sole discretion of IKEA, and IKEA reserves the right to modify, alter, terminate or amend the validity of full or any part of the rewards any time it deems appropriate.

10. Reward coupons are not transferable and can’t be exchanged against cash. A customer can redeem only 1 coupon against 1 invoice.

11. The reward coupon in any form should not be promoted or use for marketing activities by the members.

12. IKEA FAMILY Reward coupons are the sole property of IKEA and should not be distributed in any form electronically or otherwise including social platforms.

13. Reward validity will depend on the nature of the reward and will be defined by IKEA.

14. Rewards can be in form of cash coupons or kind, redeemable only at IKEA HITEC City, Hyderabad.

15. IKEA reserves the right to amend, modify or waive these Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole discretion.

16. IKEA reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Members access to its service, or parts of it if in IKEA’s reasonable view the relevant Member or Account appears to be in breach of any provision of this Agreement

17. IKEA reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Reward initiative, either temporarily or permanently (or any part thereof), with or without notice.

18. In Case of any product returns which was purchased using IKEA Rewards, the customer needs to produce the original invoice and the return will be processed at the sole discretion of IKEA. IKEA reserves the right to withhold/forfeit or decline the Rewards as it deems appropriate. For queries on returns, customers need to contact the Customer Relations Desk.

19. In case the customer loses/misplaces/damages/misplaces the reward, a duplicate will be issued only on a case to case basis where the customer is able to furnish sufficient proof of it being not in possession of the customer, and IKEA on its discretion will make the coupon available in the IKEA Family Kiosk within 7 working days.

20. Liability:
We warrant that the IKEA Family Rewards will be provided with reasonable care and skill with the intention of meeting our specifications for the Rewards, but we cannot and do not guarantee that IKEA Family Rewards will meet your requirements.
We shall have no other obligation, duty or liability whatsoever in contract, tort (including negligence, breach of statutory duty, deficiency in service, unfair trade practice and any other tort) or otherwise as defined below:
A) For any loss of revenue, business, anticipated savings or profits; (B) any errors in or omissions from the Site or offer or any services or products obtainable therefrom; (C) the unavailability or interruption of the Rewards/benefits or any features thereof; (D) your use or Redemption of the Rewards.

21. All the above terms and conditions shall be over and above the other applicable IKEA and IKEA Family terms and conditions.

IKEA for Business

Thank you for creating an IKEA for Business Account (the “Account")! Through the Account, your company will have access to numerous relevant services that support its business, such as purchase history and communication with the latest news, trends and inspiration for your business.

1. The legal bits

These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding contract between the company registering for an Account (the “Company”) and IKEA India Private Limited (“IKEA”, “we”, “us”). The Terms and Conditions govern the Company’s access to and use of the Account. IKEA may, in its sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, e.g. in case of changes to applicable laws, changes in services and features offered by IKEA, or when we introduce new services or for any other reasons as deemed fit by IKEA. Any such change will take effect fourteen (14) business days from the date on which we publish the updated Terms and Conditions. If the Company does not accept the changes, it has the right to cancel its Account. Any use of the Account after the updated Terms and Conditions have been updated on IKEA’s website shall be deemed as the Company’s acceptance of such updated Terms and Conditions.

2. The Account

The Account enables business customers to purchase products and services for business purposes and to access and use a number of features and services intended for business customers. IKEA for Business has been specifically designed for micro and small businesses. It is hereby clarified that Business Customers here does not mean to include Resellers.
In order to connect the Company’s purchases to the Account, the Company must identify itself during the checkout process. For online purchases, this is done by inserting the IKEA for Business card number in the requested field, and for purchases in-store, by scanning the IKEA for Business card at the check-out. It is important to remember this as IKEA cannot make any retroactive registrations of purchases due to technical reasons.

The Company must create an Account by providing accurate, current and complete information, including the Company name and email address, and undertakes to keep IKEA updated on any changes to such information.
By registering an Account, the Company confirms that the individual submitting the registration has the authority to bind the Company and that the Company is eligible for registering an Account. The Company also represents that it has all requisite rights, power, and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
The Account is non-transferable and may be used and accessed only by the Company, directly and exclusively for its own business purposes through its user/s. The Company acknowledges that the Account may under no circumstances be used for the reselling of IKEA products or services to third parties.

3. Administration of the account

The Company can choose to have several users connected to its Account including several users with administrative rights. The individual who first creates the Company’s Account will automatically become an administrator of the Account and the Company must always have at least one user with administrative rights. The administrator will be able to (i) invite other employees of the Company to become users and administrators of the Account, (ii) delete individual users; (iii) delete or change the settings for the Account (e.g. select preferences, upgrade to or downgrade from to the IKEA Business Network, and (iv) see the full purchase history of the Company, including the name of individuals who have placed an order. A regular user can only see its own activities on the Account.
Each user will receive an IKEA for Business card (the “Card”) that shall be used to identify the Company as an IKEA for Business customer. The Card is not transferable and can only be used by the person whose signature is on the card on behalf of the Company. The Card is not a debit card, credit card or guarantee card.
The administrator is responsible for ensuring that all users of the Account are employed by the Company or otherwise authorized to act on behalf of the Company.
IKEA will store and process the personal data of the individual users of the Account. The Company hereby confirms that it will make any such individuals aware of the content of the IKEA for Business Privacy Notice.

4. Acceptable Use

The Company may use the Account only for business, commercial and authorized purposes, such as purchases, use of planning tools and/or to communicate with IKEA. The Company must not (and shall ensure that its users do not) misuse or tamper with the features and services that it gets access to through the Account (e.g. hack, introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, carry out denial of service attacks or any other technologically harmful practice or materials) or otherwise mess with our technologies or functionalities.
The Company is responsible for all activities that occur under the Account and shall ensure that all users maintain the confidentiality of their individual passwords. If the Company believes that an unauthorized person has gained access to a password and/or the Account, the Company must immediately contact IKEA and change any compromised passwords. The Company shall ensure that its users always log out from the Account after the end of each session. IKEA will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising out of the Company’s failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

5. Copyright, trademarks and patents

All title, ownership, rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Account, and the IKEA brand shall remain with either IKEA or its franchisor, Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
The use of the Account does not give the Company the right to use or reproduce any of our copyrighted materials, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights or materials.
The Company also confirms that it will not use its relationship with IKEA for any marketing or financing purposes or as a reference in any company presentations or press releases, or in any way utilise (either on the Internet or in any other way communicate to the public) any trade name, trademark, service mark, logo or other distinctive brand feature of IKEA, Ingka Group or Inter IKEA Group.

6. Termination and suspension of the Account

The Company may terminate the Account at any time by deleting the account. If terminated, the Company will no longer be able to benefit from the Account offerings.
IKEA may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend the Company’s Account by providing notice to the Company’s Account administrator(s) on the occurrence of any of the following situations: (a) if we see or have reasons to believe, that the Company uses the Account in breach of these Terms and Conditions, (b) if IKEA reasonably suspects that fraudulent activities have taken place, (c) any other use of the Account that is not acceptable to IKEA; or (d) if the Company has been inactive for more than 36 months. By inactivity, we mean that the Company has not interacted with IKEA by e.g. logging in to the Account or opening our emails. We also reserve the right, with or without notice, to remove or edit content, modify, suspend or discontinue the availability of any features or services and charge, or stop charging a fee for any services, under the Account.
Sections 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 shall survive the termination or expiration of these Terms and Conditions.

7. Indemnification

The Company agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold IKEA harmless from and against all liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) relating to, arising out of, or in any way in connection with any of the following (“Claim”): (a) the Company’s access to or use of the Account, including information provided in connection therewith; (b) the Company’s breach or alleged breach of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law; and (c) any misrepresentation made by the Company.

8. No Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable legislation, IKEA will not be liable to the Company for any damages of any kind, including without limitation any indirect, special or consequential damages, arising out of the use or inability to use the Account, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages or for any claim by any other party. IKEA does not warrant that any of the products or services purchased by the Company from IKEA are suitable, appropriate or legal to use in the Company’s business operations.

9. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to any rules or principles on conflicts of laws. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the applicable courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

IKEA Business Network

If the Company has signed up to be a member of the IKEA Business Network (the “Network)”, the following terms and conditions will apply in addition to the above.

10. Network benefits

The benefits and offerings may change over time and IKEA reserves the right to add or remove benefits and services as it sees fit. Some benefits and services are only offered to the Company at any one time and any attempt to circumvent this right will be considered a breach of these Terms and Conditions which may lead to termination of the same.

As a Network member, the Company will get access to the My IKEA Business Network Page where all information about the membership, purchase history, current offerings and much more are available.

Product and service offerings and discounts
Through the Network, the Company will have access to a great variety of discounts, offerings and services. As an example, Network members will receive discounts on selected products and services. However, please note that not all products on offer to the Network members have been approved for commercial use and that IKEA takes no responsibility for ensuring that the products offered or discounted are compliant or suitable for their intended use in the Company’s business.
Offers, discounts and services will vary over time and may also differ from store to store. Information about our current offers, discounts and services can always be found on My IKEA Business Network Page.

Learn with IKEA
We want to support the growth of our Network members! For this reason, we have created “Learn with IKEA”, which gives Network members access to educational content through training modules and newsletters on topics like people development, business development and space creation. Please note that all content “Learn with IKEA” has been created exclusively for Network members and that the Company is prohibited from downloading, copying, recording, sharing, distributing or otherwise making available any of the content of “Learn with IKEA” to anyone who is not an employee of the Company.

11. Termination and suspension of the IKEA Network membership

The Company may terminate the IKEA Business Network membership at any time by changing the settings in My IKEA Business Network Page. Upon termination, the Company will no longer be able to benefit from the IKEA Network benefits and offerings and this will impact all registered users connected to the Company’s Account with immediate effect. Terminating the IKEA Network Membership will not automatically terminate the Account.

12. Disclaimer

IKEA shall not be obligated to verify the authenticity of the Company and the authorizations given by the Company to the User/s. In the event of there being any difference or dispute between the User/s and the Company or Vice Versa, the User/s and the Company shall jointly and severally hold IKEA harmless as IKEA is accepting the membership of the Company in good faith. IKEA is not benefitting out of this membership as this is a Loyalty program provided by IKEA for the benefit of its Business Customers. If the User/s is falsely claiming that they are authorized by the Company, IKEA shall not be held responsible for the same either by the Company or by the User/s. There shall not be any dispute raised against IKEA under this program either by the Company or the User or any of the third-party/ies.

IKEA India Home Planning Service

These terms and conditions are about the home planning service we provide to you. We/Our/Us/IKEA in these terms refer to IKEA India Private Limited, having its corporate registered office at 10th Floor, Greenheart, Phase IV, MFAR, Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara, Bangalore 560045


  1. Home planning will take place at the location specified by the customer on the home planning order instructions.

  2. The home planning visit can happen anytime in the allocated time window selected by the customer. We will contact the customer 1 hour prior to the appointment time to reconfirm availability, if not the home planning service will need to be rebooked for the next available appointment.

  3. The home planner will not design the customer home at the first meet but he or she will take inputs of their requirement, needs, etc.

  4. The home planner will discuss only the rooms booked by the customer as per the home planning order instructions. Any extra room assistance will have to be again booked by the customer through the store.

  5. The home planning service can be cancelled with a full refund of the home planning fee, the customer will have to cancel the home planning service 24 hours prior to when the home planning appointment is due by calling the IKEA Customer Support Centre. The IKEA Customer Support Centre operates from 09:00 Hrs to 23:00 Hrs on all days. If the home planning service is cancelled after the home planner has arrived at the customer premise, this will be treated as a cancelled home planning visit and cancellation charges will apply.

IKEA India Measurement Service

Measurement Service Terms
These terms and conditions are about the measurement services we provide to you. We/Our/Us/IKEA in these terms refer to IKEA India Private Limited, having its corporate office at 10th Floor, Greenheart, Phase IV, MFAR, Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara, Bangalore 560045


  1. Measurement service will take place at the location specified by the customer on the measurement service order instructions.

  2. The measurement service can happen anytime in the allocated time window selected by the customer at the point of sale. The Service team will contact the customer 1 hour prior to the measurement service. During this communication the availability of the customer needs to be confirmed, if not the measurement service will need to be rebooked for the next available appointment.

  3. The measurer will only take internal measurements of the room or a complete home, balconies and will not take any external measurement of the premises.

  4. The measurer will measure only the rooms booked by the customer as per the measurement service order instructions. For any extra room, assistance will have to be again booked by the customer through the store.

  5. For cancellation and full refund of the measurement service fee, the customer will have to cancel the measurement service within 24 hours of the service being paid by calling the IKEA Customer Support Centre. The IKEA Customer Support Centre operates from 09:00 Hrs to 23:00 hrs on all days. If the measurer has arrived at the customer premises and then the cancellation request is made, this will be treated as a cancelled visit and cancellation charges will apply.

IKEA Kitchen Installation Service

These terms and conditions are about the kitchen installation service we provide to you. We/Our/Us/IKEA in these terms refer to IKEA India Private Limited, having its corporate office at 10th Floor, Greenheart, Phase IV, MFAR, Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara, Bangalore 560045.

Kitchen Installation Service

IKEA installation service entails fixing of suspension grills, assembly and installation of the Ikea cabinets, drawers, other accessories from IKEA range, worktops, cooktops, hob and chimney fitments through OEM.

Our Workmanship Guarantee

We provide a 3-year guarantee on the workmanship from the date of completion of your installation and the signing of the completion certificate. This guarantee is not transferable to any other person or premises other than where we have performed the kitchen installation. Our guarantee is subject to the following conditions: IKEA and our installers will have no responsibility for any defect arising from wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow IKEA's instructions, misuse, alteration or repair of products without our prior approval.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be done prior to commencement of the installation services no later than 24 hours before the date on which we agreed to commence the installation services. You can call us or write to us giving us the kitchen installation order number. We will confirm your cancellation in writing to you and reschedule the service for a later date.

In the event that the cancellation is made when our installation co-workers have arrived at your premises, this will incur cancellation charges and you will have to re-book the installation service.

Our rights to cancel and your rights to a refund

We may have to cancel or postpone an order for the services if an event beyond our control occurs and we are unable to remedy the situation within a reasonable time, or the key personnel or key materials necessary to provide the services are unavailable. We will promptly contact you to reschedule. We may also cancel the contract for services at any time (with immediate effect by giving you written notice) if you break the terms of our contract in any material way and you do not correct or fix the situation within a reasonable time of us writing to you and asking you to do so.

We will supply the services to you on the date agreed and will make every effort to complete the kitchen installation services on time. Our installers will need access to the area where the work is to be carried out to provide the services. If you do not allow access to our installer, we may suspend our work. We will not be responsible for any consequences you suffer where you have not provided access.

Our installers will be required to use your washrooms while being at work at your premises, for which you need to provide the amenities and agreeable to use them at free will. Installers will be taking tea and lunch breaks with prior intimation to you.

These terms and conditions are about the assembly service we provide to you. We/Our/Us/IKEA in these terms refer to IKEA India Private Limited, having its corporate office at 10th Floor, Greenheart, Phase IV, MFAR, Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara, Bangalore 560045.

Assembly appointment

Appointments once confirmed can be cancelled a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointment date and time with prior intimation to IKEA via phone/email. Please mention your assembly work order number while cancelling the said appointment. If the IKEA Assembly co-worker arrives at the customer premises and then the assembly service appointment is cancelled, cancellation charges will apply and the assembly appointment will have to be re-booked on payment of the full assembly charges. If the assembly team is unable to complete the services because of unsafe work conditions or the requirements mentioned above are not met and a new assembly date has to be scheduled, additional charges will be applicable.

Pre-requisites prior to commencement of assembly service at customer premises

  1. Please ensure that you have all the products required and booked for assembly.

  2. Ensure that the products on your assembly order are in the room where they will be assembled or, if not possible, in a nearby room on the same floor of your home.

  3. Permit usage of electrical points for drilling machine usage or charging.

  4. Permit usage of washrooms by our assemblers in case they are required to do so.

  5. Ensure there is enough space in the room to safely assemble and secure the products.

  6. The room (e.g. walls, floor) must be ready for the assembly and securing of products. Where required, removal of the skirting will have to be done by you or your authorized representative. The purchased assembly service does not include dismantling or removal/movement of existing fixtures or furniture.

  7. Ensure you or your authorized representative over the age of 18 is available to accept the assembly team at the scheduled time.

During and after assembly

  1. The assembly and securing of IKEA products will be performed according to assembly instructions and safety guidelines as recommended by IKEA. The assembly team will review with the customer the products that require wall mounting prior to starting assembly.

  2. The assembly team will not perform non-scope works such as electricals and plumbing works, installation of electronic Items or appliances or modification of IKEA products.

  3. Once the assembly is completed, review the work by the assembler and confirm your satisfaction by signing the completion certificate, or identify any concerns with the assembly team.
    Workmanship guarantee
    IKEA will conduct and make simple the assembly of IKEA furniture at customer homes in the prescribed and given assembly time as per IKEA quality standards. Any fault/damage to the product or its failure arising out of faulty assembly performed by IKEA would be guaranteed for repair or spare part replacement for 1 year from the date of signing the completion certificate

This document sets out the arrangements that will apply to the purchase of an IKEA Delivery Service. It sets out the arrangements in relation to the purchase from IKEA and records that IKEA is not the Transport Service Provider (TSP).


1. Delivery will take place at the location specified by the Customer on the delivery instructions, to the one-room of choice*, ideally where the product will be assembled.

* In case of an elevator, customer to ensure prior necessary approvals to carry the articles in the elevator

* In case of no elevator, our transport provider can deliver the articles till the 4th floor only, or will deliver the same at the building security/reception to have it collected by the customer

2. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient access and space to complete the delivery will be available. If the goods are to be delivered to a location other than on ground level, then sufficient access will be available by staircase or lift.

3. The delivery can happen anytime in the allocated time window selected by the Customer at the point of sale. The TSP will contact the Customer 1 hour prior to the delivery when the vehicle is en route. TSP will wait at the customer’s location for a maximum of 15 minutes in case the customer is unavailable at the given address.

4. If the TSP cannot deliver to the room of choice, the Customer may request delivery to an accessible alternative area at the same address. If the TSP assesses that the room of choice is unsuitable and that delivery is likely to cause damage to the goods or the property, they will inform the Customer and record this concern.

5. If delivery cannot be made to the location specified due to the nature of premises, insufficient access or unavailable to accept delivery, an additional delivery charge (equal to the cost of regular delivery) would be levied on the Customer. Payment of the additional delivery charge should be made at IKEA store after which, the flat-packs will be delivered. 6. On delivery, the Customer (or its representative) will be required to check the condition of the packaging and confirm that the correct number of items has been received. The delivery team must be notified immediately if any discrepancies are noticed and this should be noted and signed in the proof of delivery. Missing items will be replaced; incorrect or damaged items will be returned and be replaced at no cost to the Customer within 3 to 5 days subject to the availability of stock.

7. On delivery, the Customer (or a representative) must sign for the goods to confirm that the order has been received. Refusal to sign will be interpreted as a refusal to accept the delivery, leading to the delivery being returned to the store. Redelivery will be triggered by a customer request to the CSC & an additional delivery charge levied if there is no valid reason for the refusal of delivery.

8. For a full refund of the Delivery fee, the Customer will have to cancel the delivery on the day the delivery was paid for (before 3 pm if same-day delivery) by calling the IKEA CSC. The IKEA Customer Support Centre (CSC) operates from 09:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Sunday

The terms & conditions defined in this Delivery Service Agreement shall in no way either willfully or unintentionally hinder, obstruct or curtail the statutory consumer rights as specified under the Indian Consumer Protection Act. In case if perceived to do so, IKEA assures that consumer rights shall prevail overriding any such terms & conditions” IKEA will not use your personal data for any marketing purposes other than for purposes directly relating to successful completion of the delivery.

The prices indicated on IKEA’s website are shown in Indian Rupees and do not include delivery. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed. If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website and is not corrected on your total at the time of order completion, for whatever reason (human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded to you, even if it has been initially validated.


We will always endeavour to fulfil your order once completed and paid for. If a product should become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will refund the price you paid for the product within 30 days following the date of payment. If your order includes products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products out first and will follow with the outstanding items once they are available again. We will refund the shipping fees for the rest of the order. If relevant, we will offer you a replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal price and quality. If you accept the replacement and then wish to return it to us in the conditions outlined under Right of Return, the return postage will be covered by us. If you choose to decline this offer, and the original product is permanently unavailable, we will reimburse the price of the unavailable product.


Opening online offers are available to customers in Mumbai (according to PIN code where the online purchase is available). Offers are limited per customer/household to 10% of the available offer stock. For mattresses, a maximum of 2 pieces per customer/household on offer items.


IKEA currently offers one payment gateway to pay for your order. These payment options use advanced software encryption to keep your transaction secure and do not cost you anything to use (the Company is charged as the seller, you are not charged as the buyer) so you will not pay any extra for your order. You do not need to hold an account with these Merchants to use these methods of payments.


Your order will be delivered to the address and pin code you indicated when your order was placed. Delivery is classified into two modes. Parcel and Truck.


Articles whose weight is less than 20 kgs and whose dimensions are in the range 100 mm x 150 mm x 100 mm and up to 600 mm x 500 mm x 400 mm are defined as a parcel. Refer delivery charges


Articles above 21 kgs fall in the category of Truck delivery.

If you order a combination of Parcel + Truck delivery, it will be treated and charged as Truck delivery

If you order two or more parcel deliveries within the same day, we will treat each parcel delivery as individual parcel delivery and charge accordingly.

IKEA does everything in its power to respect the delivery times indicated on the website. We cannot, however, be held responsible for the consequences of a late delivery or the loss of a package caused by a third-party contracted to make delivery, or by you, or because of some unforeseen event beyond our control, strikes, riots, unrest or an Act of God. In the event where you do not receive your package, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier and may take several days upon receipt of your claim. During this period of investigation, no reimbursement or re-delivery will take place. Delivery is made to your room of choice.


In case of goods received in damaged condition or an incomplete order. You are to accept the delivery and inform our Customer Support Centre on 1800 419 4532 giving them details of damage or short shipment along with invoice number. Our Customer Contact Service Co-Worker will arrange for a pickup of returnable goods within 24 hours of you registering the complaint. Details and time frame of receiving replacement goods/refunds will be intimated to you by our Customer Support Centre. All damage reports are to be made within 7 days of receiving the product after which we will not be in a position to entertain any claims there off.


Once you have made your delivery booking you can make changes 24 hours before the delivery at no extra charge. For example, if you have made a delivery booking for 10th July 1200 hrs, then any deferment request has to come on or by 9th July 1200 hrs.

In case our delivery partner attempts to perform a delivery as per your booked time slot and day, and your premises are found locked or you are unavailable, a second attempt will be made free of charge the same or the next day. The timing of the delivery will be intimated to you by our delivery partner. If you are still unavailable for a period over 24 hours after the delivery period expiry, the delivery will be treated as cancelled and a fresh delivery request will have to be initiated by you on payment of our delivery charges.


IKEA allows you 60 days to return a product that you are not satisfied with. Your right to change of mind starts from the moment your order is delivered. You need to call the IKEA Customer Contact Centre no 1800 419 4532 to give them the invoice number and details of products you wish to return. Our service partner will contact you to arrange to pick it up.

Shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility as per our delivery charges. The present right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete, unassembled condition with preferably the original packaging accompanied with the original invoice.


All items purchased from IKEA are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

You are therefore requested to check the product at the time of accepting the delivery and notify IKEA in case you notice any defect/damage in the products. Once the delivery is accepted by you, IKEA shall not be obligated to entertain any claim from you with respect to the damaged delivery of the products.


In case the refund is approved by IKEA in respect of any transaction, the User will be reimbursed via the same payment method as was used initially by the Buyer.

1. I have ordered a parcel delivery and would like to return it, but have disposed of the packing material. Can I still return it, will I be charged?

At the time of making the return booking with our Customer Contact Center, kindly intimate them about the requirement of packing material. Our Transport Service Provider will pick up the article without the packaging as long as they are not in a damaged or used condition. Transport Service Provider will pack the articles at your premises. Please ensure that the original invoice is available at the time of return pick up by our Transport Service Provider

2. Furniture articles ordered are in semi-assembled form and I would like to return them. Can I return still?

Return of furniture is accepted in the same condition as it was delivered to you. It has to be disassembled by the vendor who has provided you with the assembly services or by you if you are performing the assembly yourself. Kindly ensure that you have the original packing and Original Invoice available at the time of pick up by our Transport Service Provider. Please contact the Customer Contact Centre on 1800 419 4532.

3. I want to initiate a return, but have lost the Original IKEA Invoice but have the card swipe receipt or payment receipt.

4. I have ordered truck delivery which had small parcel items as well and I would like to return only the parcel items. What is the amount that will be charged for the return of the articles?

Depending on what weight slab the article falls into, the amount will be charged. Please refer to our delivery charges.

5. I bought the articles from IKEA India Hyderabad Store and shipped them to Mumbai on my cost and risk. I would like to return some articles back to IKEA India.

6. I bought an IKEA Kitchen overseas where a 25-year guarantee was offered to me. I shifted residence back to India and moved the Kitchen which was moved and installed at my cost and risk. I need some articles replaced under the guarantee that was offered to me as the owner of the Kitchen.

The IKEA Kitchen and product Guarantee is valid only in the country of purchase and cannot be transferred outside of the country. You will have to call the Customer Contact Centre on 1800 419 4532 who will guide you on how to purchase the said articles or compatible articles if the range is available in India. IKEA India will not Import and deliver spares or articles that are not part of the IKEA India Range or the same have been discontinued for sale and not available in India.

Click & Collect


- Orders placed before 12 noon, can be collected on the same day at the slots available (while placing the orders online)
- The articles ordered should be picked up by the customer from the Collection Station only in Parking 1 – Dedicated area (Row A)
- The customer has to collect the articles at the slot chosen at the time of placing the order
- In case, you wish to change the slot of collecting the articles or cancel the order, the customer has to inform the CSC at least 2 hours before the scheduled slot
- If the order is not collected at the scheduled time chosen, IKEA will extend the storage of the order up to *24 Hours (1 working day).

* The order is deemed canceled (without any further notification) after 24 hours (1 working day)
- IKEA India will initiate refunds within 4 working days from the date of cancellation of the order
- Check the articles at the time of collecting the order before leaving the premises. Once the order is checked and collected by the customer, it is an acknowledgment by the customer to have accepted the order in the right condition
- In case of order cancellation, the pickup charges are non-refundable
- It is mandatory to acknowledge the acceptance of the order and provide a valid proof of identity at the premises of IKEA India, at the time of collecting the same

In case the order is scheduled to be collected by a third party

o Inform the name, contact number of the person collecting the order and along with the iSell Order number to the Customer Support Center via online chat or call at least 2 hours before the scheduled slot
o The order will be handed over by IKEA India to the person nominated to collect on providing valid legal proof of identity (PAN Card, Adhar Card, Driving License, Passport)
o The articles are deemed in the right condition once checked and collected at the IKEA premises
o IKEA India is not liable for any damages once articles and the order are checked and collected by the 3rd party

Return and Exchange Policy – Exceptions during COVID19

Safety of our Customers and Co-Workers is the topmost priority in these times, hence we are making a few exceptions to the Returns and Exchange policy.

Returns Policy - COVID 19 Exceptions

- If the invoice is expiring during the lock down period, IKEA will consider returns or exchange of the articles once the store resumes operations
- As per our existing returns policy - Cut fabric, live plants, food articles, assembled articles, custom made worktops will not be eligible for returns
- Returns or Exchange of Damaged Articles or Wrong product of Click and Collect orders, we insist customers to share the pictures of the articles and the proof of purchase (invoice) with our Customer Support Center at before bringing the articles back to the store
- Damaged articles will be replaced with like to like articles
- Articles that are found to be dirty, stained, damaged, abused are not eligible for returns or exchange
