If I return a product, how is it refunded?

Depending on the condition of the product, we will pay you back with the original payment method, or a refund card.

The amount will be refunded to the original payment method (or a refund card on your preference), on the below condition of the product:

  • In packaging/out of packaging but not assembled.
  • Assembled, but no evidence of use.

Whereas, the amount will be refunded to an IKEA Refund Card if the products are:

  • Tested, and traces of usage found.
  • Used, and evidence of damage or modified.
  • In original packaging but returned after 365 days.

IMPORTANT:
PoP (proof of purchase) is mandatory to return an IKEA product. If you identified yourself as an IKEA Family member at the time of purchase, you can find your purchase history by logging in to your Family profile. If you do not have the receipt, please contact us and we will try to verify your purchase. However, if there is no PoP found, the return/exchange cannot be accommodated.
