Do I need to be at home at the time of my order delivery?

We recommend being present to inspect all packages at the time of delivery. This ensures everything is in perfect condition and nothing is missing.

For home deliveries, you need to be present to accept the delivery and provide the OTP to the delivery agent. The delivery will be attempted within the scheduled time slot, and the delivery agent will contact you an hour before arrival.

  • If you're unavailable or your number is unreachable, a reattempt will be made the next day.
  • Reattempts will occur for three consecutive days. After multiple failed attempts, the order will be returned to IKEA, and a refund will be processed only for articles and not for the delivery service.
  • If you opt to leave your order at the doorstep or with security, IKEA cannot be held liable for any damage or missing items. It is advised to inspect all packages for any damage or missing articles upon delivery.
