How do I attach a BESTÅ storage combination to the wall?

Safety is very important to us at IKEA. That is why we advise you to secure your furniture. You can fix your BESTÅ cabinet to the wall with the included fittings.

To ensure safety we recommend that all cabinets sold by IKEA are attached to the wall.  Different wall material require different different fittings. Therefore, use fittings that are suitable for the material of your wall. In our screw and plug sets you’ll find different types of wall fittings. This set is sold seperately.

Would you like to hang your BESTÅ cabinet on the wall? Then you can use the BESTÅ suspension rail for this (you need 1 rail per 60 cm element). It is important to ensure that there is at least 5 cm between the top of the base unit and the ceiling. This is necessary to be able to lift the base element onto the suspension rail.

You can't hang the BESTÅ TV cabinet with a suspension rail. The low version of 38 cm is attached directly to the wall according to the assembly instructions. The high variant of 64 cm stands on legs.
