Can I receive a GST refund if I return a product purchased from IKEA?
Yes, when you return a product, the refunded amount is inclusive of GST.
At IKEA India, the prices of all the products are inclusive of GST, and in the process of returning an IKEA product, the same amount which was paid during the purchase is refunded – that is inclusive of GST.
For B2B customers: You can claim GST as per the norms of Government of India – which IKEA does not offer assistance in this process and we will not be able to make any recommendations.
Tax-free Purchase: In India, making a tax-free purchase typically refers to investing in instruments or schemes where the returns or income are exempt from tax, rather than buying consumer goods without tax (which is generally not allowed under GST laws).
