Kitchen Installation
Once you are happy to proceed with our kitchen installation service, we will visit your home or workplace to make sure the measurements and design are correct.
Throughout the installation of your new kitchen, we will coordinate the job from start to finish. We are so confident of the quality of installation, we give you a 3-year guarantee on workmanship.

*Installation service is only available for kitchens purchased from IKEA.
Kitchen installation prices
For each METOD kitchen cabinet, an installation price of Rs. 2,750 per cabinet will be applicable.
METOD kitchens comprising of 22 cabinets or more will have a fixed installation price of Rs. 60,000.
For each ENHET kitchen cabinet, there is an installation price of Rs. 1,650 per cabinet.
IKEA Installation service includes the following:
Kitchen cabinets, interiors, door fronts, cover panels, legs and plinths, handles, integrated lighting, sink, tap and IKEA purchased appliances (excluding extractor hood)
IKEA India – Services (Assembly and Installation)
- The workmanship guarantee period is valid from the date of completion of the kitchen installation (once the completion certificate is signed off by IKEA Co-workers/ authorized IKEA vendor/associates/partners and the customer
- The workmanship guarantee is valid for 3 years
- The customer has to provide the readiness of the site for the installation to begin, within 90 days from the date of delivery of the kitchen articles
- Kitchen articles, assembly, installation, transport, and workmanship are guaranteed at the site of first installed only
- Assembly and Installation, maintenance and alignment of drawers, door fronts, hinges within the 1st year of service
- Installation and Assembly within 14 Days (on confirmation of the site readiness and the delivery of the articles on site)
- IKEA INDIA guarantees the sink if bought and installed from IKEA INDIA
- IKEA INDIA guarantee is applicable for articles, appliances, and workmanship only if the civil changes are made as recommended by IKEA INDIA co-workers or IKEA INDIA authorized vendors/associates/partners during the PIV (Pre Installation Visit)
- IKEA INDIA guarantees are applied only if the customer reaches out to our touchpoints via the store, Customer Service Center or IKEA India website
- IKEA INDIA will not be responsible if the customer reaches out to the IKEA INDIA authorized vendors/associates/partners directly for purchase or repairs or replacement of articles or services
- In cases of conflict at the time of installation, the customer will be refunded only for articles that are unpacked. The customer is deemed liable and has complete ownership of the articles and products that are unpacked and assembled
- In case of dispute or conflicts, IKEA INDIA is not liable to refund for the services availed by the customer for the purchase of the kitchen like the transport/delivery cost, installation and assembly cost
- In cases of conceptional damages, the customer is liable to purchase the articles/ products or spares that has to be replaced or repaired
- Measurement, Planning and Delivery fees are non-refundable in case of non-utilization, conflict or cancellation of the order
- IKEA INDIA or IKEA INDIA vendors/associates/partners do not undertake any Civil changes on the site
Post installation service support
- We provide a 1-year post installation service support for your IKEA kitchen doors and drawer fronts
- Assembly and installation, maintenance and alignment of drawers, door fronts and hinges within the 1st year of service
- Installation and assembly within 14 days (on confirmation of the site readiness and the delivery of the articles on site)
- IKEA India co-worker will visit the customer site 4 times in the 1st year of installation of the kitchen
- The findings of the inspection will be documented
- Based on the findings, the IKEA India co-worker will recommend the do’s and don’ts that will be signed and agreed by the IKEA India co-worker and the customer after every visit.
- In case during the next visit, the recommendations are not followed, the guarantee is deemed void
Schedule of post installation service support
- 30th day of completion of the kitchen installation
- 120th day of completion of the kitchen installation
- 210th day of completion of the kitchen installation
- 365th day of completion of the kitchen installation
DELIVERY - IKEA India authorized transport partners
- The customer is liable for the safety of the articles and products delivered on site of the installation
- The articles and products will be delivered to the address of delivery provided by the customer at the time of purchase of the kitchen
- The customer is liable to check the status and the number of articles and products delivered as per the tax invoice provided at the time of the purchase
- The Proof of Delivery has to be signed by the customer and handed over to the IKEA India authorized transport provider only after checking the articles and product condition.
- If any of any difference between the articles billed and articles delivered, the same needs to be reported by the customer to the Customer Service Center
- IKEA India or the IKEA India authorized transport provider is not liable for any articles/products that are missing/stolen after the Proof of Delivery is signed off by the customer
- IKEA India or the IKEA India authorized vendors/associates/partners are not responsible for any missing or stolen articles/products from the site during the time of installation of the kitchen
- In case of transport damages, the IKEA India co-worker will visit and determine the damage/loss that can be replaced or repaired
Definitions
IKEA India – Refers to IKEA India Retail Private LimitedManufacturing damages - For damaged items or quality issues, the reported issue should be due to a manufacturing defect or handling damage and not due to normal wear and tear, neglect or abuse. Please bear in mind that defects and/or damages are not always apparent as soon as the customer purchases or builds the product. Damages or defects sometimes occur/or become visible after the said product has been used for some time. The cost of damages or loss is borne by the manufacturer/seller of the articles and products.
Concealed damages – Damages affecting the contents of the sealed packages shipped and damages visible when opened. Concealed damages requires thorough investigations to decide if the damages are due to transport or manufacturing defect. The customer should receive a replacement or a 100% refund for concealed damages. The cost of damages or loss are borne by the manufacturer/seller of the articles, products, or services
Transport service provider damages (TSP) - Damages are generally the most identifiable when they are caused at the time of transporting the articles. The liability lies on the party that has damaged the product. TSP damages may or may not require thorough inspection and the liability of the damages/loss is incurred by the transport/delivery company.
Consequential damages - Damages that are due to any particular situation or circumstance at the point of usage or utilisation of the products or articles. The damage caused by failure to observe operating instructions, incorrect installation or accidents.Accidental damages: Damages caused by foreign objects or substances and cleaning or unblocking of filters, drainage systems or soap drawers. In such cases, the party utilising the benefits of the articles or products is liable to pay for the damages or loss caused.
