Mattress dimensions
We offer many different mattress sizes. Some are unique to our products but most are standard sizes, ready for the bed you own, from IKEA or not. Below is a breakdown of all the mattresses we sell.
Standard single, small double, and standard double, are all the same length at 190cm (75 inches) and vary only in width. King and super king are longer at 200cm (78 inches) and vary in width.
Standard vs European sizes
European bed and mattress sizes differ from standard sizes. At IKEA, we sell both, although we have a much wider range in standard sizes. Make sure you know the size of the bed frame you have before choosing the mattress.

Choosing the right size mattress and bed
Space is one of the biggest factors when choosing the size of your bed frame and mattress. Make sure you measure your bedroom space (twice!) before committing to the size. Mattresses differ in length and width, depending on how many people will be sleeping in the bed and/or how much space each person needs to get a good night's sleep.
Tip! Use IKEA Kreativ to virtually add products into a room to see how they look together. Or if you'd like to visualise IKEA products in your own home, download the IKEA App on your phone and use IKEA Kreativ to scan your room. Then simply remove your existing furniture and drag and drop your new bed and any other products into your space. Perfect for making sure you get the size right!

Small single mattresses
Fits our day beds and Children's extendable beds.

European single mattresses
Fits our Children's junior beds, bunk beds and loft beds.
For loft beds and top beds on bunk beds, the ÅBYGDA mattress is excluded, due to height restrictions on mattresses for these bed types.
90x200cm
Standard single mattresses
Perfect for single sleepers, small bedrooms, and kids upgrading to their first adult bed.
90x190cm
Small double mattresses
Ideal for smaller bedrooms that can't quite fit a double bed.
Please note, we have a limited range of this mattress size.

Standard double mattresses
Perfect for two people and can fit most bedrooms.
135x190cm
King mattresses
Ideal for taller people who require a little extra legroom or couples who have a larger bedroom.
150x200cm
Super king mattresses
A luxurious extra-large bed for those with more space in their bedroom and want more space to sleep.

Super king beds
Ideal for those with plenty of additional space in their bedroom and who want that hotel feeling.

Compatible with our 90x200 cm mattresses.
Loft and bunk beds
Compatible with our 90x200cm mattresses for loft and bunk beds
This excludes the ÅBYGDA mattress due to height restrictions on these bed styles.
