Why should I choose Parcel Delivery?
Small Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller orders, such as decoration items, textiles, picture frames, and other home décor accessories, for those who are comfortable with an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed day/time slot. Large Parcel Deliveries is ideal for orders weighing between 15kg-100kg and suited for those who are comfortable with an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed day/time slot.
Cost considerations: Small parcel deliveries start from €6.00 and large parcel deliveries from €15.00. For IKEA Family members small parcel deliveries start from €2 for orders over €65.
For Express delivery (Our fastest delivery – Choose either next day (for orders placed before 12pm) or day after) small parcel delivery is €8 and large parcel delivery - €19
Timing and scheduling factors: Delivery dates provided are estimates with a lead time of 2 days.
Item size and type restrictions: This method is best for lighter, smaller items under 15kg or larger items up to 100kg.
Location/distance factors: Suitable for most residential addresses where a central delivery warehouse can dispatch your order.
Customer effort required: Medium - Your items are delivered directly to your delivery address, and tracking is available online. However, if you’re not present and no safe place is available, you may need to arrange to receive your goods on a different date with our transport provider DPD.
Use cases: Ideal if you’re ordering smaller accessories through to larger items weighing no more than 100kg and are happy with an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed day/time slot.
