Energy saving lighting

Energy-efficient and long-lasting LED bulbs have a lifetime of approximately 25,000 hours and they can help save up to 85% of energy compared to incandescent bulbs. We offer a wide range of options for every need, at every budget. Add a remote for quick and easy Smart lighting, so you can control your light sources from afar. Turn on, turn off, choose colours — and dim for the right mood. In the UK, households spend a lot of money by leaving items on standby. Switch to a timer and save time and money.

Rock to one song and take shorter showers

In every shower we installed a flow regulator that controls the maximum flow rate to help you save water and energy, while you sing your favorite tune all soaked in. If you rock to only one song, you can also help yourself cut time in the shower and save even more hot water.

    Power is in your hands

Follow these quick tips to save on your energy bills and live more sustainably:

    • Close your curtains at night to retain heat
    • Re-arrange furniture to block draughts
    • Swap your bath for a shower
    • Consider motion sensors or timers to try to avoid lights left on unnecessarily
    • Check with your electricity and gas provider to see if they offer cheaper rates during off-peak hours (usually from 10pm - 7am and weekends). Run the dishwasher or clothes washer during off-peak hours to save on energy costs.
    • You can dry dishes faster while using less energy? Check to see if your dishwasher has the “Auto open” function which opens the dishwasher door during the drying phase at the end of the washing program.
Can lining curtains line your pockets? Yes! By swapping our curtains for heavier ones with the GLANSNÄVA curtain liner we can feel a real difference in our draughty rooms and have saved in energy bills.
