1. Get inspired

Before we plan together, you can be inspired at your leisure:

Save planning code

If you're using an online scheduling tool:
  • Save your planning code
  • You can find it at the end of the planning tool via "Finalized"
  • Alternatively: "Save for later" to receive a link or email with your scheduling code
The planning code is needed to continue working on your project later or to call it up in the appointment with our specialists.
Important:
If your project isn't saved in your personal space, it can be only with the planning code can be called again. Unfortunately, a recovery is not possible without code.

2. Make an appointment

Book your bathroom planning:
Duration: ca. 30 minutes
After booking, you will receive:
  • a confirmation email
  • shortly before the appointment a reminder email
You can also use these mails to make your appointment postpone or cancel independently.

3. Prepare for your planning appointment

Measure space

For tailor-made planning, we need:
  • Height, width and depth of the bathroom
  • Positions of doors, windows and sockets

Recording needs and wishes

Think about it in advance:
  • How do you want your bathroom to function in everyday life?
  • How much storage space do you need?
  • What furniture, colors or materials do you want?

Photos or sketches

A photo or a simple sketch of your bathroom will help you tailor the planning even more precisely to your space.

4. Your planning appointment

Personal advice from bathroom experts

In the appointment:
  • we will discuss your wishes, routines and ideas
  • Plan your bathroom furniture, storage solutions or shower solutions
  • you will receive a individual 3D plan
  • you get a specific shopping list

5. Online appointment – this is how it works

  • You will receive a link to the online meeting
  • Participation via PC, tablet or smartphone
  • Our experts share their screen
  • You will experience live how your bathroom is planned
A camera is not required.
If you wish, we will support you directly afterwards with the order.

6. Planning in the IKEA store

  • Log in at the agreed time on information desk of the bathroom department
  • Our experts will pick you up
  • You can see materials, colours and solutions directly on site
  • If desired, the order can be placed directly afterwards

7. After the appointment

  • You take time to review the plan
  • Changes are possible at any time
  • Your planning will be stored on the IKEA server
Plans prepared abroad can also be accessed in Germany.
Please note: The assortment may vary depending on the country, individual products may not be available.
