Does IKEA offer assembly and how much does it cost?

IKEA offers assembly services. Depending on the product, installation is carried out either directly by IKEA or by partner TaskRabbit.

Putting together IKEA products can be fun and rewarding – but sometimes you don't have time or energy.
To make everyday life at home easier for you, we support you with professional assembly services.

Furniture assembly with TaskRabbit

The assembly of your furniture is done by our partner TaskRabbit.
Important information:
    • Minimum mounting value: 39 € tax incl.
    • The prices are based on:
      • the amount of work
      • the type of furniture to be assembled
    • The installation is carried out in accordance with the IKEA assembly instructions
    • The Final price incl. VAT can vary depending on the time needed and includes travel costs
    • You can see the exact installation price for the respective products in your Cart.
    • Payment is made securely online via the TaskRabbit Platform

Bathroom installation service

We will be happy to take care of bathroom furniture as well as the installation of washbasins and mixer taps for you.
The IKEA bathroom installation service includes the professional assembly of your bathroom furniture as well as the installation of the washbasin, mixer tap and siphon.

Included in the price:

    • Arrival of the fitter
    • Consumables including silicone seals (white or transparent)
    • Professional assembly of your IKEA bathroom furniture
    • Connection of up to two IKEA mixer taps
    • Connection of the siphon or double siphon to the water drain including attachment of the drain valve
    • Professional extension of the water inlets from the existing angle valve (if necessary)
    • Sealing the washbasin with silicone

Prices:

    • Basic flat rate: 199 €
    • Additional: €15 per linear metre of the entire width of all the furniture included in the solution
The price is based on the total width of all bathroom furniture to be installed (base and wall units including mirrors) in centimetres.
Please note:
For a Pure bathroom furniture assembly without installation of washbasin, mixer tap and siphon please use our Assembly service via TaskRabbit.

Installation service for business customers

For companies, we offer an assembly service at the following conditions:
    • 59 € basic flat rate
    • plus 25% of the value of the goods of the furniture to be assembled
