With IKEA sofa and living room planning, you can design your home together with our interior design experts. Whether you're looking for a new sofa, planning a complete living room solution or optimising an existing interior, we'll help you find a solution that suits your space, style and everyday life. The consultation is free, non-binding and can take place online, by phone with screen sharing or directly in the IKEA store.
How to start your living room planning

This way, our experts can call up your planning directly during the consultation appointment and develop it further together with you.
Schedule your appointment in a way that works best for you
You decide for yourself whether the consultation should take place online, by phone or in the IKEA store. You can easily make an appointment via the Sofa and living room planning book. The consultation usually takes about 30 minutes. After booking, you will receive a confirmation as well as a reminder before the appointment. You can easily make changes or cancellations via the corresponding emails.
Prepare yourself optimally for the consultation
So that we can plan the right solution for you, have the dimensions of your room ready if possible. Information on height, width and depth as well as the positions of windows, doors, radiators and sockets are helpful. Photos or a simple sketch of the room also support the planning.

This is how the planning deadline works

After the appointment, everything remains flexible
After your consultation, you will receive your planning by e-mail. You can then check the suggestions at your leisure and have changes made at any time. Your planning will be saved and can be called up again or edited later. Plans that were created in another country can also be opened in Germany. Please note, however, that the assortment may differ depending on the country.
Ordering and Payment
If you are satisfied with your planning, you can complete the order directly online or in the IKEA store. For online or remote consultations, payment is made via a secure payment link that you will receive by email. Depending on availability, you can pay with PayPal, credit card, Klarna, Ratepay or IKEA financing solutions, among others.
Have you already planned yourself?
No problem. Our experts can review your existing planning, make suggestions for optimization or develop a new solution together with you. Simply bring your planning code or drafts with you to the appointment.
