What delivery and collection options does IKEA offer?

IKEA offers standard delivery, standard parcel delivery and various Click & Collect options. Parcel delivery is particularly suitable for smaller items that can be sent by post. With Click & Collect, you can collect your order from an IKEA store or a collection point.

Depending on the size of your order and how you would like to receive it, you can choose between home delivery and various collection options.

1. Standard delivery

Ideal for larger orders
With standard delivery, your order is delivered directly to your address.
This service is particularly suitable for larger orders where you need help carrying the products into your home.
The delivery driver will bring the items:
  • into your home
  • and place them in a room of your choice

Delivery time window

Depending on your postcode, a 4- to 6-hour delivery window applies to this service. You will also be notified 30 to 60 minutes before delivery.

2. Standard parcel delivery

Ideal for smaller orders, such as accessories or home decoration
Standard parcel delivery is available if the following limits are not exceeded:
  • total weight: 56 kg
  • maximum length: 200 cm
  • maximum girth: 300 cm

Delivery period

The delivery date shown is an estimated date.
The parcels will be delivered within the indicated estimated delivery period. Please note that delays or changes may occur.

Delivery

Parcel orders are delivered to the delivery address you provided. If a safe place is available, you can provide permission to leave the parcel there.

3. Click & Collect at an IKEA store

With the Click & Collect service, you can collect your order from an IKEA store.
As soon as your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email with information about how and where to collect it.

Please bring the following when collecting your order

  • a photo ID
  • proof of purchase

Is someone else collecting your order?

In this case, the person must bring:
  • the original order confirmation or receipt
  • a letter of authorisation
  • a photo ID
Please note: Collect your Click & Collect order within the selected time window.

4. Click & Collect Near You (CCNY)

Ideal if you live further away from an IKEA store
With Click & Collect Near You, you can collect your order from one of the available collection points.
This saves travel time, as you do not need to travel to an IKEA store.
During the online ordering process, select from the available options:
  • a suitable date and time
  • and a suitable collection location
