What delivery and collection options does IKEA offer?

IKEA offers standard delivery, standard parcel delivery and various Click & Collect options. Parcel delivery is particularly suitable for smaller items that can be sent by post. With Click & Collect, you can collect your order from an IKEA store or a collection point.

Depending on the size of your order and how you would like to receive it, you can choose between home delivery and various collection options.

1. STANDARD TRUCK DELIVERY

Ideal for larger orders
With Standard Truck Delivery, your order is delivered directly to your address. This service is particularly suitable for larger orders where you need help carrying the products into your home.
The delivery driver will bring the items:
  • into your home
  • and place them in a room of your choice

Delivery time window

Depending on your postcode, a 4- to 6-hour delivery window applies to this service. You will also be notified 30 to 60 minutes before delivery.

2. EXPRESS TRUCK DELIVERY

Ideal if you need larger items particularly quickly With Express Truck Delivery, your order can be delivered within 48 hours. Prices for this service start from €49. The delivery options actually available to you and the exact delivery costs will be displayed at checkout.

3. STANDARD PARCEL DELIVERY

Ideal for smaller orders such as accessories or home décor
Standard Parcel Delivery is available if the following limits are not exceeded:
  • total weight: 56 kg
  • maximum weight per parcel: 28 kg
  • maximum length: 200 cm
  • maximum girth: 300 cm
    (2 × width + 2 × height + 1 × length)
Delivery period: The stated delivery date is an estimated date. Parcels will be delivered within the estimated delivery period provided. Please note that delivery times may vary.
Delivery: Parcel orders are delivered to your specified delivery address. If there is a safe place available, you can provide permission to leave the parcel there.

4. CLICK & COLLECT AT AN IKEA STORE

With Click & Collect, you can collect your order from an IKEA store. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email with information about where and how to collect it.

Please bring the following when collecting your order

  • photo ID
  • proof of purchase

Someone else collecting your order?

They will need to bring:
  • the original order confirmation or invoice
  • a written authorisation
  • photo ID
Please note: Collect your Click & Collect order within your selected time slot.

5. CLICK & COLLECT NEAR YOU (CCNY)

Ideal if you live further away from an IKEA store
With Click & Collect Near You, you can collect your order from one of the available Collection Points. This saves travel time and means you do not have to travel to an IKEA store.
During the online ordering process, select from the available options:
  • a suitable collection time
  • and a suitable Collection Point
