What are you doing to ensure that the roof terrace at IKEA Wien Westbahnhof in particular is not used by homeless people?

We are cooperating with local organizations to address possible hot spots.

IKEA Wien Westbahnhof is intended to offer space for the many people – from restaurants to generally accessible roof terraces. At the same time, of course, we want to ensure that all visitors are able to shop in a relaxed and safe way.

Certain activities that could be perceived as disturbing by other visitors are therefore prohibited.

We are already in contact with organisations (e.g. Suchthilfe Wien) in order to make dealing with their clients (e.g. people without a permanent residence) as neighbourly as possible in advance and to work on possible focal points.
