Why is IKEA Wien Westbahnhof also lit up at night? That's light pollution!
At IKEA Wien Westbahnhof there is a detailed lighting plan, which has been worked out in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Three of the four facades are illuminated. The lighting starts between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the morning - depending on the side of the facade - and turns off automatically between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. during the night hours. The brightness must generally not exceed 250cd/m2.
