Why is my IKEA order being delivered in multiple shipments?

Find out why your IKEA order may arrive in multiple deliveries, what this means for you and how to track each part of your order.

Sometimes your IKEA order may be delivered in multiple shipments. This is completely normal and helps us get your products to you as quickly as possible.

Why can this happen?

  1. Items are coming from different warehouses
Some products may be available from different stock locations. To reduce waiting times, we may send them separately.
  2. Different delivery routes, same destination
Your items may travel via different delivery routes but will still be delivered to your chosen address.
  3. No additional action is required
You don’t need to do anything – each part of your order is processed automatically.

Track your order

You can check the status of all partial deliveries online at any time:
  • in your IKEA account under Purchases & orders
  • or without logging in via Track your order

💡 Good to know

  • Partial deliveries do not result in additional costs
  • Delivery dates may vary slightly
  • You will still receive one invoice, even if your order arrives in several shipments
