Why am I paying more than €1.99 for delivery as an IKEA Family member?

Are you an IKEA Family member and paying more than €1.99 for delivery? Find out which requirements apply and why higher delivery costs may be shown.

As an IKEA Family member, you benefit from parcel delivery from €1.99 – provided certain requirements are met.
If higher delivery costs are shown, please check the following:

1. Are you logged in?

Make sure that you:
  • are signed in with your IKEA Family account
  • have an active membership
Without being logged in, the member delivery price will not be applied.

2. Can all items be sent as a parcel?

The €1.99 delivery price only applies to parcel deliveries.
If:
  • an item is too large or too heavy
  • the maximum parcel dimensions are exceeded
  • the order is classified as a truck delivery
higher delivery costs will apply.

3. Are the size or weight limits exceeded?

Certain limits apply to parcel delivery:
  • maximum length: 200 cm
  • maximum girth: 300 cm
  • maximum weight: 56 kg
If these limits are exceeded, the order will be delivered by truck – and the delivery costs will change.

Important to know

  • The €1.99 benefit applies exclusively to eligible parcel deliveries.
  • Mixed orders consisting of parcel and truck delivery items may result in higher total delivery costs.
