How do I activate Scan & Pay in the IKEA app?

Find out how to activate Scan & Pay in the IKEA app and scan your shopping directly with your smartphone.

To use Scan & Pay, you need at least version 4.7.0 of the IKEA app.
We recommend always having the latest version installed.

Start Scan & Pay

You can start your Scan & Pay shopping in several ways:

Option 1

  1. Open the IKEA app.
  2. Go to the Shopping basket tab.
  3. Select Store.

Option 2

  1. Open the Store tab.
  2. Tap the Scan button.

Option 3

  1. Open the Search tab.
  2. Start Scan & Pay using the button next to the search bar.

Scan your items

Once Scan & Pay is active:
  • scan the barcodes on the products or order slips
  • place the products directly in your shopping bag
  • pay for your shopping conveniently in the app

Scan & Pay not working?

Please check:
  • Is the IKEA app up to date?
  • Have you selected the correct IKEA store?
  • Is your internet connection active?
