What is the Unified Water Label?
You want to know how much energy and water your IKEA mixer tap uses? The Unified Water Label is a European label that gives you more insight into these things.
You can find this label on various mixers (kitchen, shower and washbasin taps) in the store and also online on our website. With this label, you can easily compare the water and energy consumption of our products to make the best choice for your situation.
What does the label show?
The coloured bars on the label show how much water the item uses per minute compared to other similar products on the market. To the right, you can also see the exact amount of water the item uses per minute.
Then you will find the average energy consumption of the item per year. The energy consumption mainly depends on how much hot or warm water you use on average.
At the bottom, you will see a series of symbols that indicate the type of product the label is made for, such as a shower, a tap or a mixer tap for the sink.
For more information, you can scan the QR code on the label to go directly to the website of the organisation behind the Unified Water Label.
