Why can’t I order some items from my IKEA plan online?
Find out why IKEA products may be visible in your online plan but currently unavailable to buy online, and what you can do.
The IKEA online planning tool displays all products within a product series or product group, regardless of their current availability. However, not all products shown in your plan are always available to purchase online.
Why does this happen?
- The planning tool shows the full range to give you as much freedom as possible when designing your solution.
- Actual availability depends on stock levels, region and delivery options.
- Some products may be:
- temporarily unavailable
- available only at an IKEA store
- currently unavailable for delivery but available to order again later
What can you do?
- Check availability
Check again later to see whether the product has become available. - Buy it at an IKEA store
Some products may only be available in store or may be available there sooner. - Choose an alternative
Look for similar products or colours that are currently available online. - Save your plan
You can save your plan at any time and complete your purchase later.
