Perfect as a plant grow lightHeatherI am using this lamp with a grow light bulb. This works perfectly for that and looks really nice while being very functional.
No max wattage shown (13W)JamesMax watt is 13 which is half of my bulb I intended to use, making this useless. This should be included in the details of the item SOMEWHERE instead of just on the stocker of the lampshade once you put it together

Great value masks the product's minor flawsAnonymousThis floor lamp looks reasonably attractive and does the job, I use it for reading (if you're using it in a dark room, you'll want a bulb that puts out less than the 450 lumen ones IKEA recommends, though; I found ~250 lumen works best). There are only 2 flaws I can be nitpicky about. First, the aluminum shade dents/bends easily if you're not careful with it (mine arrived slightly bent, but it was easy to bend back into shape). Second, the entire lamp wobbles pretty easily if you bump into it (it won't fall easily, but the base has some "give" to it). For the price though, you can't complain!

Sorry to have purchased this lampLindaRight out of the box, I could see multiple very noticeable dents/divots on both the light cover and the base. It did not appear to be used, so believe the defects were from the manufacturer. In addition, the metal dome is dull/flat, not shiny as depicted in the picture online. As the expense to ship it back will cost nearly as much as the lamp, I plan to take it to Goodwill. Very disappointing Ikea experience :-(

This lamp is actually really great, good quality, and heavier duty than expected. It provides great directed light for reading or (in my case) knitting. If you’re on the fence, I recommend you give it a try…you won’t be disappointed.
