SmellsMelanieThese smell like wet hay. IKEA was aware that these have an odor, when I called about it. I am returning them. They also arrived with no packaging, just held together with a piece of twine. But they are pretty.

Practical Storage, Looks Great and Holds Up for YearsShelleyI first bought the Knipsa baskets 13 years ago and have used them in multiple homes, as storage in my living room, bathroom, and as garage storage in a damp climate. I'm currently using them as a temporary pantry, and once the new pantry is installed, they will be used as garage storage again. They have been used and abused daily and show virtually no wear. My old Knipsa baskets look just as new as the two I just purchased. Definitely recommend.

This is a nice looking box for your Kallax cubbyholes. However, they are not as durable as I had hoped, even the ones in rooms for the cats do not have access to them show wear faster than I had hoped

Can’t believe these are $25 now. RyinI really loved these and lost the ones I had in a storage unit fire. Went to reorder and noticed the price… I knew there was no way I paid that much for them. Went to check old receipts and bought 2 of them for $14.99 each in 2019. Yes, they lasted THAT long. I refuseee to pay that much. Deeply disappointing because it’s a great product, sturdy, collapsible which is helpful. Seriously not happy with the increase of $10.

What is sedge (or seagrass)?
Sedge (or seagrass) grows naturally in South-East Asian coastal areas. For our products, we mainly use cultivated sedge from field areas that have previously been flooded by the sea, making them unsuitable for rice cultivation. Sedge grows well in salty soils and even helps cleanse them. After harvest, the plant is left to dry in the sun making it a hardwearing fiber ideal for weaving or braiding products with beautiful color variations, like baskets and mats.
