Designer thoughts
"I'm personally very interested in fashion and in how textiles can be used in different areas of the home. When I designed VARLIG candle holders I was inspired by typical suit patterns, like pinstripes, houndstooth and pepita checks. It's not very common to see woven patterns on candle holders, so it was especially exciting to do just that. The patterns are made of pieces of black and white paper that are woven together, which gives the same graphic feeling as suits. Classic, but new at the same time."
