What is SKYTTA?

SKYTTA is a sliding door system with doors that can be used in front of a storage solution or as a room divider. With SKYTTA you can easily customize a wardrobe, create a walk-in closet or turn one room into two. You choose the frame and complement with panels that suit your home and style.

How the installation service works

To ensure correct installations, it is important to have the correct measurements from the start when installing SKYTTA sliding doors. Cuttings are not included in our installation service, but can be purchased separately. To avoid incorrect measurements, you must either measure yourself or book the measuring service beforehand.
Add the products you want to buy to your shopping cart on IKEA.se. There you will have the opportunity to book installation directly in connection with your purchase. If you shop in the store, you can speak to an employee after your purchase to book installation, or book it through Hemfixarna Nordic AB website.
Once you have booked installation and selected a preliminary date for the home visit, Hemfixarna Nordic AB will contact you to determine the exact date and time for the installation, which will suit both you and them.
Hemfixarna Nordic AB will visit you and install the products according to the installation instructions.
After the work is completed, you will receive an invoice with both RUT and ROT deductions if you are eligible, according to the fixed price package you have chosen. You can also choose to pay with Swish if you wish.

Book a measurement service

For a correct installation of SKYTTA sliding doors, it is important to have the right measurements from the start. By booking the measurement, you can be sure that Hemfixarna Nordic AB takes responsibility for taking correct measurements and ensuring a smooth installation*. To book the measurement service, you can either visit us in the department store, contact IKEA Customer Service or visit Hemfixarna Nordic AB website. A home visit typically takes 60-90 minutes, and upon completion you will receive a digital document with everything you need to place your order.

*Hemfixarna takes responsibility for the measurements as the space looks at the measurement location at the time, what can be visually seen and measured. If changes occur in the space after the measurement service, for example demolition of a wall, other furnishings, etc., this may affect the measurements. The measurement is documented and handed over digitally to the customer.

You will need the following tools – screwdriver, spirit level, hammer drill, circular saw, multi-tool, pencil, hacksaw, ladder, hammer, knife, tape measure/folding rule, drills, jointer, measuring laser and cross laser.

What is included in the installation service and what do I as a customer need to prepare?

It is important that the measurements are correct from the start when installing SKYTTA sliding doors. To avoid incorrect measurements and ensure correct installations, you must measure yourself or book the measurement service.

Remember that all your products to be installed must be in place before our partner arrives. If parts are missing, the assignment will be canceled, and Hemfixarna Nordic AB will charge a cancellation fee.

Remember to prepare the surface for assembly so that it can be done without obstaclesLeave your SKYTTA products in the original packaging. Then place the packages in the room where you want the fully installed product to be.

Good to know

It is possible that the service may be eligible for both RUT and ROT deductions, which means that you can get up to 50% deduction on the labor cost. On Skatteverkets website you can read more about the rules and conditions for both RUT and ROT deductions.
The installation service is available throughout Sweden.
It is possible to choose evenings and weekends for the installation and measurement service.
Payment for the installation and measurement service is always made directly to Hemfixarna Nordic AB, after the assignment has been completed.
