*Only done in connection with the assembly of bathroom furniture or the installation of bathroom cabinets. Electricity is connected to an existing electrical outlet. The electricity must be drawn at the time of service. Water is connected to existing and drawn pipes.

How the installation service works

Add the products you want to buy to your shopping cart on IKEA.se, where you will have the opportunity to book installation directly in connection with your purchase. If you shop in the department store, you can speak to an employee to book installation, or contact IKEA Customer Service or visit the Hemfixarna Nordic AB website.
Once you have booked installation and selected a preliminary date for the home visit, Hemfixarna Nordic AB will contact you to determine the exact date and time for the installation, which will suit both you and them. It is important to note that due to high demand, the lead time for bathroom installation may be slightly longer than usual.
Hemfixarna Nordic AB will visit you and install the products according to the assembly instructions.
After the work is completed, you will receive an invoice according to the fixed price package you have chosen. You can also choose to pay with Swish if you wish.

The assignment is always carried out with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you want to complain, you can post your complaint for the installation here.

What is included in the installation service and what do I as a customer need to prepare?

Check that there is a working water shut-off in the room where the installation is to be done, or in a nearby room, on the water pipe that the installation concerns.

Existing cabinets must be emptied before dismantling.

Remember that all your products to be installed must be in place before our partner arrives. If parts are missing, the assignment will be canceled, and Hemfixarna Nordic AB will charge a cancellation fee.

Remember to prepare the surface for the installation so that it can be done without obstacles. The craftsmen need a free installation area of 2x2 meters.

Leave your products in the original packaging. Then place the packages in the room where you want the fully installed product to be.

Reinforcements of the wall, alignment of the wall or other measures to be able to install

Palletizing or similar measures if the walls are not straight or at an angle

Repair of tiles or other wall coverings after old furnishings are not repaired (linked to dismantling)

Special adaptations for connection to the sewer

Rerouting/forwarding of electricity

Reducing pipe connections, transitions to cast iron, etc.

Sealing of existing pipes that are no longer to be used

Packaging recycling. If removal of packaging is desired, this can be ordered in connection with Hemfixarna Nordic AB booking call for a fixed price.

Good to know

The service is eligible for ROT, which means that you can get a 50% ROT deduction on the labor cost. On Skatteverkets website, you can read more about the rules and conditions for ROT deduction.
Payment for the installation is always made directly to Hemfixarna Nordic AB, after the assignment has been completed.
Existing water and sewage must be within the cabinet width and a maximum of 300mm from the faucet location. If the location of water and sewage does not meet the above requirements, additional costs will apply. This information is provided by the craftsman.
