How much does a kitchen installation cost at IKEA?

IKEA calculates the preliminary cost of the products included in your kitchen design. The price of kitchen installation varies depending on the changes required in your kitchen, such as relocating electrical wiring, plumbing, or replacing an existing floor. For this reason, the final installation price can only be provided in a quotation from our service partner after a completed verification service.

How the cost for kitchen installation service is calculated:
  1. Preliminary price for IKEA products during planning: Your IKEA kitchen specialist can help you calculate the preliminary cost of the products during your kitchen planning appointment. The price is based on the specific components included in your kitchen solution.
  2. Fee for verification service prior to installation: A verification service by our service partner is required to confirm that your plan works with the actual conditions in your home. This inspection costs SEK 995. The fee will be deducted from your final installation cost if you choose to proceed. However, the SEK 995 fee is non‑refundable if you decide not to go ahead with the installation after the visit.
Please note that if additional work is required during the installation, the installer may provide a separate quotation for these services. This would then be a separate, private agreement between you and the installer, and IKEA is not responsible for this work.
