If I have a FAKTUM kitchen, can I complement it with kitchen organisers from METOD?
Yes, but only partially. Since FAKTUM and METOD have different dimensions, most interior fittings from METOD do not fit FAKTUM. However, there are a few exceptions.
METOD was introduced in 2013 and replaced the FAKTUM kitchen system. The two systems differ both in dimensions and hole patterns, which means that kitchen organisers from METOD are generally not compatible with FAKTUM. However, there are a few exceptions where the products work together.
Kitchen organisers that can be uses to FAKTUM are:
- UPPDATERA adjustable organiser for drawer, Grey
- All drawer mats
- UTRUSTA wire basket 40 cm and 60 cm. To make UTRUSTA wire baskets work in FAKTUM, the spacer with article number 128599 must be removed during installation (see the assembly instructions).
