How do I connect DIRIGERA to Google home, Apple home, and Amazon Alexa?
You can connect your DIRIGERA hub to Google Home, Apple Home and Amazon Alexa by opening the respective app, adding IKEA Home Smart as a service or accessory, and sign in with your IKEA account. Once the pairing is complete, your lights and devices will automatically appear and can be controlled by voice or app, depending on the system you are using.
Google Home
To connect your DIRIGERA hub to Google Home, open the Google Home app on your phone. Tap "Add", then choose "Works with Google". Search for "IKEA Home Smart" in the list and sign in using the same IKEA account you use in the DIRIGERA app. Once linked, your lights and other devices will appear in Google Home, where you can assign them to rooms and control them with Google Assistant voice commands.
Apple Home
To add DIRIGERA to Apple Home, open the IKEA Home Smart app and go to the hub settings. Select "Add" to "Apple Home" and follow the instructions shown on the screen. You will be asked to scan the HomeKit code displayed in the app. When the setup is complete, all compatible devices will automatically appear in the Apple Home app, where you can control them with Siri and create automations.
Amazon Alexa
To connect DIRIGERA to Alexa, open the Alexa app and go to "Skills & Games". Search for "IKEA Home Smart" and enable the skill. Sign in with your IKEA account to link the systems. After the connection is complete, Alexa will automatically discover your devices and add them to the app, allowing you to control them using voice commands through an Echo speaker or the Alexa app.
