Can I turn off or remove the motor on IKEAs hoods?
All our hoods has an motor that cannot be turned off or removed.
If your home has a ventilation system with, for example, a roof-mounted motor and requires a non-motorized hood, also known as an Alliance hood, IKEA currently does not offer any hoods compatible with that system in our range.
