How many hinges do I need for my PLATSA door?
The doors sold with PLATSA are complemented with HJÄLPA hinges. Depending on the size of the door, you will need a different number of hinges. Enlarge this answer to see the different door sizes and how many hinges are required to complement them. The PLATSA storage system was sold between 2018–2026.
HJÄLPA soft-closing hinges are the ones that fit PLATSA doors. Depending on the size of the door, a different number of hinges is required:
- 60x180cm - 4st
- 40x180cm - 3st
- 60x120cm - 3st
- 40x120cm - 3st
- 60x60cm - 2st
- 40x60cm - 2st
- 60x40cm - 2st
- 40x40cm - 2st

The adjustment ensures that the doors and drawer fronts are at the correct height and position, which can be done both up, down, to the right, and to the left, depending on which part needs fine-tuning.
